ethan and y/n were out, traveling. the usual 2nd wednesday of every month, they'll go out and adventure, coming home the next week.
this month though, the 2nd wednesday happened to be their 2nd anniversary. march 21st, 2 years has passed, it felt like paris.
ethan looks over to his passenger seat as his significant other slept throughout the car ride. wrapped in their blanket and wearing ethan's blue hoodie, y/n cuddled the throw pillow ethan had in his car.
i want this forever, ethan thought. i might not deserve it but there's nothing better. i thank God for giving me you, 2 years ago. the past 2 years have been my favorite and i will never forget it. i don't even know how i ever did it all without you. maybe that's why i always felt like something was missing, it must be you.
on the other hand, y/n woke up, noticing ethan glancing at the most beautiful person he's ever met and back to the road. y/n's heart felt like jumping out of her chest, this wednesday is as special as it can be.
y/n started to reminisce. the times when all ethan was before, it was supposed to be a small crush. and it turned out to be something none ever expected.
3 years ago, they never hung out alone. afraid to accidentaly slip their similar secrets to each other, so they never did hung out before. but ethan, oh god, ethan couldn't bare the thought of not having y/n in his arms whenever he wanted to. they went on a date, days later. days turned into weeks, turned into months, and we arrive at march 21st 2016.
ethan was shocked to say the least, most of all he was happy. he finally got the person his dreams were made of. the person he always wanted, the person who made him, him. the person who made him feel like paris in the rain made him feel, and god does he want y/n in paris in the rain with him.
now going back to today, ethan stops at their place. only taking y/n for a car ride today, because today is special. today, they're finally going to paris.
