ethan dolan woke up at 9:13 am on december 16th 2017. next to him was his brother, surprisingly, still asleep, cuddling up to him. his girlfriend was nowhere to be seen.
heading to the bathroom to shower, ethan found a post in note stuck on his phone screen. it read
happy birthday boyz ! i'll pick u & g up at 11 for ur surprise. i love u both but i love ethan grant more :) ♡

'the cutest ever' ethan thought as he smiled at the note. she was different from all his exes, hell she was different from everybody.
usually, when someone dates ethan, they forget that he has a certain twin named grayson with the same birthday. but y/n? she remembered that.
"yo gray, wake up." ethan shook grayson awake. grayson, thankfully sat up after the third shake and grabbed his phone. a same coloured post it attached to it, but different message.
hbd g! can i borrow eth later at 10pm? i have quite the surprise 4 him. also get ready cus i'll be picking ya both up at 11! lav ya

"dude, your girlfriend is literally the sweetest. you're so effing lucky." grayson declared after reading the note. ethan nodded in agreement, "i am."
both boys showered in their own showers and decided to just play nintendo switch before y/n came.
"happy birthday!" y/n greeted with a kiss when ethan opened the door. his hand rested on her waist as grayson pressed record on the camera.
after a solid 4 minutes of making out at the doorway, grayson coughed, making the couple break away. y/n smiled at ethan after he kissed her temple.
"happy birthday gray," y/n greeted grayson as she hugged the boy. ethan grabbed the camera from grayson and filmed the two.
"so, what are going to do today?" grayson asked. they were dressed in matching red sweatshirts and just black skinny jeans. "we're gonna go to the mall 'cause i'm getting you both your presents." y/n explained as ethan snaked his arm around her waist. grayson nodded before excusing himself to change into more 'comfortable but classy' clothes as he says.
