An odd street, 9:00 am
As I was running on the streets, with street dogs ready to rip me off, God sent the savior.
No, he was not a handsome hulk riding a BMW bike. But he was, who I needed badly at that moment.....the E-rikshaw waala. (E-rickshaws are battery operated electric three wheelers, which are usually boarded on a sharing basis by four people. 'E rickshaw waala' is the person who drives it). I usually took an E-rickshaw for going to the metro station.
"Metro, metro,metro" He called.
" Bhaiyaa bhagao" I shrieked as I jumped on the back seat. Sensing the terror, he quickly sped off. The dogs followed but not for long.
"Pagal kutte the madam (They were just aggressive dogs) " The rickshaw waala said.
" Oh! I thought they were cute bunnies ...thanks for enlightening me" I muttered and rolled my eyes. Of course I knew they were dogs, savage dogs.
Just then I heard a repressed laughter from someone sitting beside me.
So, I was not the lone passenger of the E-rickshaw. I looked sideways to see who it was.
"OMG" I gasped. "Why didn't I notice HIM earlier! I am an idiot."
A handsome boy was sitting beside me on the blessed rickshaw.
My cellphone buzzed. It was Inaya's message.
Inaya: Where r u?
Me: on the way.... sitting beside my weakness....;)
Inaya: what???
Me: my weakness....handsome boys in black skin fit suits"
Inaya: Oh LOL!! I thought it was chicken momos XDXD
(she's a big foodie)
Me: Shut up....u r always thinking about food...this guy...side profile is too good;);)...but I can't see his face..
Inaya: Then turn yours and see..
Me: that would look weird....he's facing the other side...
Inaya: Whatever...-_-
(she went offline)
But I had got to see his FACE....
I am of the opinion that people should not be judged by their physical appearance (I don't have a very pretty one myself), As the saying goes,"Don't judge a book by it's cover." But, when only the cover is available, you have got to judge it.
