Recap: Out of guilt, Tanie tells her boyfriend Ishaan that she kissed Shanu (her neighbour). This message disturbs Ishaan to the extent that he kisses Tanie's best friend Inaya, just to let Tanie down. Samiksha is fed up of Tanie's troubled relationships and she leaves her home angrily. As if this two way trouble was not enough for her, there comes another and this time she has to fight it alone......

"Dammit! Dammit!"

I started tapping my mobile screen violently.

All eyes in the metro coach turned towards me. "Sorry" I mumbled and ran an embarrassed glance round the coach.

No more into your sick business. I had said.

13 missed calls from Tanie Maheshwari. I was worried. Her mobile was switched off.

What should I do now? I began racking my brains, I hope she's fine; even Inaya and Mona are not picking up; Shona's clueless about this mess....Tanie....Tanie.... What could have happened to you and why is your cell switched off...?

The metro doors opened, and passengers started rushing out from all directions. I kept standing at my position, transfixed, lost in my thoughts. The crowd pushed me backwards. Just then I felt my hand being held and pulled towards the door, my feet followed and in a few seconds, I had deboarded the metro.

"Where were you lost, huh?" this person let go of my hand. I realised that we were at Mahavidyalaya metro station (where I alight).

"Thanks" I said tidying my dress, "you got me out, Sumnil."

Sumnil is my classmate. She is a sweet and shy girl. We often come across each other in the metro.

"It's alright." She smiled, "Let's go now; we are already late for the first lecture."

We started walking towards the exit gate. My thoughts drifted back to Tanie.

Should I call her again?

These thoughts were frustrating.

Why me always? Why should I go and solve all their problems? I have a life of my own and I am going straight to my class to do what my parents actually pay for!
