Monday:

My eyes fluttered open as the sun shined through the window of Jakes room. I rolled over and saw Jake sound asleep with his lying on the pillow facing my and his arms under the pillow.

I smiled and slowly got out of bed. I took a shower, got dressed and ordered postmates. I ordered Starbucks and a smoothie.

Time passed by as I just sat on the couch waiting for my post mates.  Logan and Kong should be here any second.

I waited and waited till I heard the door open and Logan came in with King and one hand and my postmates in the other. He walked over to the couch and sat.

"How are Tess?" He asked.

"Really good actually." Kong jumped into my lap and started licking my face.

"I've missed you too!" I said to Kong.

I heard foot steps going down the stairs and I didn't realize who it was till someone kissed the top of my head.

Logan looked shocked. He wasn't very happy.

"I'll see you tomorrow." With that he stormed out of the house. I gave Jake the dog and I ran after Logan.

"LOGAN!! It's not what you think!!" I said. He turners around and looked me dead in the eyes.

"Really, because it looks like you and my brother are getting pretty cozy together." He said, he turned away and walked to his car. He went to reach for his door handle and stop when I said.

"Logan! He helped me through our break up. He made me happy when my world was crashing down before me. That's all it is.." I said. He turned around to me.

"But my own brother. Tess, that's really low." Logan said.

"I know, I was just so sad and confused. It was stupid and immature. I'm sorry Logan." I said walking to him.  We were about a few inches apart and I stared in to his hurt eyes.

He raised his hand to my hair and pulled some behind my ear and kissed my forehead.

"Goodbye Tessa. I hope he makes you happy." He said and I broke. He got in the car and drove away. I fell to the floor and wept.

I felt insecure and stupid. Hopeless. Reckless.
