Chapter 6

Nicoles POV:

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Can we just let it go Nicole?" spencer asked. " I'm over her. Thats all that matters. I really like you so can we just enjoy our date?"

I couldn't ignore it when he told me that he really likes me so I dropped the subject. As long as he is the one who broke up with Emily I guess that means hes over her.

'Alright." I said. "I'm really excited to go on the boat!"

"Great me too!" He said. "And wait until you see what I made us for dinner."

Wait did he say what 'he' made for dinner? ohhmmyyygoosshhh! He cooks:)

"Did you say what you made for dinner?"

"mmmhhhhm. You're hungry right?"

"Yup now lets get going!"

It was just about dusk as we pulled up to the parking lot at the beach and started to unload our dinner. Spencer put it in a picnic basket and everything.

"Wow" I said

"Is it to much?" he asked.

He looks so cute when hes worried, so it pains me to say

"No its perfect"

To this he gave me a huge smile, grabbed my hand and we walked to the docks.

When we got to his dads boat I was ahmazed. it was so cool. I know we were supose to be on a romantic date but come on, I love watersking as much as the next person and this boat looked like it could be perfect for it!

"Don't worry Nicole, we can go slow" Spencer said. The worry overcame his face again. his is so cute and and he cares about me. I had to pinch myself to see if I was dreaming.

"No don't worry." I said. " It just looks like its perfect for water sports"

"Ohh. yah. My friends from Arizona are going to come visit next month and i'm going to teach them a few things. Your welcome to join too" He said.

I had to smile at this. I'm sure I could show him a few things but I sheepishly agrred excited for a challenge. Have I mentioned that I'm a competitive girl?

Spencer started up the boat and we left the dock. the waves were a little choppy so we went near a lighthouse that was about 30minutes away from the docks, and anchored the boat.

"So are you hungry? Spencer asked.

Spencers POV:)

As I asked Nicole if she was hungry I started to unpack the picnic basket.

Its a good thing my mom likes to cook, because without the help of her cookbooks I would never have been able to make dinner for Nicole and I.

I decided on a Sparkling Cider with Chicken Fettechini Alfredo. On the side I made salad. Then for desert i made double choclate brownies. The're my favorite:)

Its a good thing my mom does a LOT of cookouts because she had some 'special' containers to keep the food warm.

When I spread out the food I think Nicoles eyes popped out of her head.

"what?" I asked. I tried to stick to basics incase she was a picky eater.

"Its just...wow. I've never had a boy cook for me before and this looks wounderful."She said

This made me smile. I'm glad shes happy. I've been sooo nervous all day.

Nicole and I ate dinner with only a little chatter, but in my oppinion I think it was pretty good. When we finished Nicole said

"Thanks Spencer that was great." Then she reated her head on my shoulder. I could have sat like that all night.

"So.." she said. "I don't know about you but it seems like I've known you forever. But yet I haven't even known you for a month."

I felt the same way about her. i mean its like we were ment for eachother.

"I know exactly"I said.

At this she looked up at me and asked "really?'

And to this for some reason I just leaned in and kissed her.
