Something new

I won all my fights and am currently second after jack! followed by Eddie then ollie who is fifth after a dauntless born named Cathy- I can tell jack has a huge crush on her! he blushes every time he speaks to her and makes her laugh. They are still insisting they're friends but I know they will totally get together before the end of training!

I walk down to training with ollie after breakfast- "initiates, today we are going to be doing something different called a fear simulation! don't be worried" tries says loudly rolling her eyes.

"Today you'll be heading through one of my fears, tomorrow one of your own, then other of your own then the final assessment!" she carries on...

"My fears are: being kidnapped, being pecked to death by birds, being taunted and burnt at the sake by a disliked person of mine, having to harm and kill my family, drowning in a small glass box with my friends watching and laughing and finally being in a room with hands reaching through grabbing at me! that's six fears, six of you go sit down" she says motioning to the chair.

I sit down in one of the chairs and brush my hair back so whoever injects me will be able to locate the vain.

I feel the plunger push down and my neck feels cold, making me shiver- I see the girl to the right if me close her eyes being pulled under by the serum and eventually find myself in that situation.

I open my eyes and see my friends talking with the other transfers- the box! I put my hands around me and feel how big the box is as water starts to fill up to my ankles. how can I stop this Without divergence?! think dauntless! do anything to survive this! I look around and don't see anything as the water begins to reach neck level. I ignore the initiates outside the glass and focus on how to get out- I see a pile where the water is filling in from and swim down pulling off my leather jacket. I shove it into the pipe and make sure no water is coming through before I swim up to the top and gasp for air. I feel my eyes start to close and open them to stunned transfers. I look at the other who are all still under their simulations and stand up feeling a little lightheaded.

"Four minutes" Zeke says shocked reading the monitor.

"No need to boast but I did it in three" tris Jokily says hair flicking.
