Sam's POV
My name is Samantha Hot. I'm sixteen years old and I live with my dad, my brother, and a land of werewolves. My mom died when I just seven years old. We've been moving around a lot after she did because of all the rumors that had been spreading since then, like me and my family are werewolves and killed her. They don't even exist! At least that's what I thought until...well you'll find out soon enough.
We moved to Charleston, South Carolina. It was a small town and a quick thought. I start my first day at the high school today. And let me tell you it ain't like any other school. The first part of the day was fine until fifth period right before lunch. A jock who sits in the back of the class threw a paper airplane at me and winked. His buddies tried hard not to snicker. I sighed and opened it. It said:
Hey, sexy! Wanna hang this weekend?
-BleuI made a disgusted face and threw the plane back. He looked shocked but I didn't care. I sat down and waited for the teacher to come in. The door finally opened but instead of the teacher, the principal came in. He cleared his throat and everyone had their eyes on him.
"Class is dismissed. Mrs. Jennings was attacked and killed," he said. Before he could walk out, the Bleu kid with the paper airplane asked, "By what?"
The principal looked around the classroom, very uncomfortable. He sighed and said, "A werewolf."
See what I mean? Ain't normal.
Everyone looked at one another, mouthing werewolf. I just rolled my eyes and plopped my head on my desk. The principal apparently noticed because when he cleared his throat and I looked up, he was in front of my desk.
"Is there a problem, Miss Hot?" he asked.
Before I could answer, the Bleu guy yelled, "Hell yeah she is!"
The principal turned to him, pointing a finger at him. "That's enough, Mr. Bleu," he says and turns back to me. "I'll ask again. Is there a problem?"
"Actually, there is," I reply.
"Oh, really? Care to share?"
"There's no such thing as werewolves."
For a moment, he looked like a statue. Then he spoke. "Everyone, go home. Miss hot, I'll see you in my office."
I gave him a slight nod, a little nervous. My first day of school and I'm already going to the principal's office. My dad is going to flip when he finds out about this. I walked slowly into his office.
"Go ahead and sit down."
I sit down in one of the chairs that are seated in front of his desk. "What do you want, sir?"
"What I want is to know why you think there are no such thing as werewolves?" he said, looking at me.
I stared at him, making sure I heard him right. "Um, well, it's just not possible."
"And why's that?"
"I don't know, sir."
He stared at me for a couple minutes.
"What?" I said.
"You really don't know, do you?"
"Know what?"
He sighed and said, "Nothing. Never mind."
Alright then. "Have you seen one before in your life?"
The question seemed to catch him off guard. "Um, no technically I haven't."
"Technically?"
He didn't answer.
"Anyways, how do you know they exist?"
