I Missed You

The night was long and slow . I couldn't  wait for this torture to go. Time,  like he had extra seconds by minutes plus hours on his shift. I felt as if I was doing time on his shift. Waiting for morning to come but like morning took a vacation or even partied whole day long, that he was taking some extra hours to sober up. What is going on, what is going on. What did I do to you night, what did I do wrong.

My eyes wouldn't stay closed. I turned and twisted, wiggled and shifted. Changed my position up and down , side to side. Was on my back and belly but for nothing my eyes couldn't stay closed, for me to fall asleep.

I flipped on the TV to see what was on , hopefully something good to make time just run. Unlucky me there was nothing good, just a bunch of reruns. Am I in the twilight zone I asked myself in my confused but anxious head.

I really couldn't wait till morning to come. I was just so anxious. I wanted to see you so badly. I missed you so much. It had butterflies flying in my stomach whole night long. Just want to hold you close and squeeze you tight. Smell your sweet lavishing scent, kiss on them soft esculent lips and take a squeeze on your behind. Pass my hands through your hair and gaze on your beautiful face.

As I told her a million times again and again. Dont matter the time or day . May it be raining or blazing with flames. You are the most beautiful girl on this planet for me .

As I drowned my way into my thoughts, I was able to win the night,  prison sentence. Before I knew it the morning was all sober and ready to do his job.

Buzz buzz my alarm went off. I jumped up so fast like it was Christmas and its time to unwrap presents. Said my prayers and brushed my teeth. Took a bath and had something to eat. Got my keys and drove straight to my sweets.

Didn't bother to get anything on the way because this time your here to stay. We've been living apart from each other because our counties were far away. But your here now and here to stay.

My heart racing and body tingling. Not only that I am seeing you but had a big gift for you. Driving at the speed limits, listening to our favorite music.
Reached at a traffic light that was on red. Waited for it to turn green. As it turned, I proceeded.

Bam and my car was in the air. Flipping  all over the place. Grabbing for my gift while in the air studying if I am going to leave this place. Would I be able to give you this gift , would I live to ask you to be mine forever, to be my dream long wish. To have my hand and be my wife . Or would you just get this ring and get the news that I had die .

Woke up in a hospital bed. How did i get here I have no idea. When , have no clue. The last thing I remembered is flying in the air grabbing for the ring. Look to the left and there she was. Waiting for me to wake up but was too tired to stay up.

A nurse entered the room silently to have a check. Told her shhh because babe was asleep. Softly ask the nurse where was my ring. How are you feeling she asked, then I would get your ring. I am feeling fine thank you  just in a little pain but can you get me the ring, with a soft gentle voice I asked again.

Nurse brought the ring. Didn't care that I was in pain. Got up of my bed telling nurse to shh its OK just have to do this today. Got on my bended knee with pain in my body but love in my heart. Held babe hand and woke her up.

Babe woke up to see me on my bended knee with my hand holding hers and gentle saying these words.

From the first day I saw you I knew you were different. The way you walk, talk and treated me. You brighten my day, day after day. Even when you was far away , you always found a way. I don't see any other girl for me in this day and age. As I am here on my bending knees. I take your hand and asks that you be my queen. Be my first and last girl that I spend my life with. The one I have kids with. Who I get vex with then have make up sex with. Would you marry me and be my wife till death do us part .

I can see the shock and happiness on her face. The tears ready to rain down on this moment. Out of words and trying to catch her breath. Yes yes I will, I will , was the words out her beautiful face.
