The Destruction

You came so silent .

Out of the blue.

No one expected you.

You had the animals going  crazy.

Slowly making your way up to the city.

Starting off gently .

Giving off a slight rumble.

Nothing to worry about.

That's what everyone thought.

Then you made your way back around.

So furious and angry.

Vicious without any care.

Tearing roads apart.

Crumbling buildings to the ground.

Shaking the thought of living out of our minds.

 Having the living running all over the place .

Some hiding under tables.

Some standing still.

While many said a prayer.

I saw buildings  wining and dancing like if their favorite music was playing.

The unmovable mountain doing a Mexican wave.

The earth was like the ocean waves, so rough and taking down what it wants.

Separation was made between neighbors with a  long deep trench.

I rather be on a roller coaster ride or ride a bull than be on a ride like this.

Finally you were over with your punishment.

The destruction was over.

You flatten so many buildings .

Brought a lot of tears.

Took lives along the way.

Made a new beginning for many.

This is a day I could never forget.

The day we got that 9.8 earthquake.
