The Mark

The first day of school is always horrible, with no one knowing where to go, what to do.

''Ugg. First day of school." Marinette said as she slowly got out of bed and looked on her phone.

After she checked her phone she immediately went to look in the mirror.

Every boy and girl gets a mark on there shoulder on there sixteenth birthday that shows who they will love for the rest of their life.

The girl with get the boys greatest talent or something there most known for. And the boys will get the girls greatest talent or something there most known for.

Knowing that no one has ever be disappointed with their mark, she was super excited hoping that her mark would be pointing to Adrien. But when she looked in the mirror and there wasn't anything there she was really disappointed,

"Do I just not love anyone?" she thought. "No that can't be, i'm sure i'll just get it later in the day"

As she walked downstairs to meet her mom she felt a buzz of excitement, not knowing what it was she just walked along. "Hey mom" she said plainly as she grabbed a bowl and some cereal

"So today is the day, do you have the mark yet!?" her mom said excitedly.

"No mom" she said with a sigh. "I don't have it yet." as she took her bowl of cereal and started eating it.

"Oh" her mom said as she looked down. " im sure youll get it later"

" yep, maybe" Marinette said as she finished her bowl and put it in the dishwasher.

"Well, I need to go, see you later" Marinette said as she left out the door.

"Bye" her mom said without emotion.

Marinette left and headed to school. While she was walking to school she was talking to tikki.

"Mari, are you ok?" tikki said with worry in her voice.

Tikki is a bug that is about as big as your hand, she looks like a Ladybug but with only one spot on the top of her head. Tikki helps Marinette transform to Ladybug, her alter ego that saves paris along with her partner Chat Noir to defeat akumas that are made by someone named hawk moth. Akumas are people who had had their feeling hurt.

"Yea...im fine. I just wish I had my mark, I know it's going to be adrien" When Mari was talking to tikki, Adrien was busy bragging to his friend Nino. Adrien still doesn't know who it is. He is half happy and half disappointed. He was hoping for the mark to be Ladybug's but he got a sewing needle and thread

"I'm just happy it's not chloe." adrien said with a laugh. "Although I do wish I knew who it was" nino then smiled "dude, just wait...i know you want it to be a special someone" nino said with a wink.

As adrien and nino was walking to class, Chloe was looking at adrien hoping he would have some white sunglasses, she always wears sunglasses, they were given to her by her mom the moment her mom died. Chloe saw that adrien had a needle and thread, knowing that she can't sew or even design. Chloe looked at Subrina with anger and she ran to the bathroom crying.

Marinette being the person that she was, she ran into adrien. Adrien immediately helped her up. While nino was watching he noticed something on her shoulder he knew it as a mark, but he didn't know who's.

As Marinette looked up and saw nino staring at her shoulder she looked and saw a mark and quickly apologized to adrian and ran to the bathroom way to excited when she looked in the mirror tikki flew out.

" do you have it.. You have it" tikki said with the high pitched voice she naturally has.

"Yea...i do" Marinette said still focusing on the mark. "Just whose mark is it?"

"Oh... you should find that out" tikki said.

"Yes no k-" she quickly stood straight up and grabbed her jacket and hid her mark. She knew exactly whose mark it was.

" whose mark is it?" tikki said flying in front of her face.

"Chat Noir's" she said. She wanted adrien's, not that flirty partner of her's, she didn't hate him she just didn't want him to be her true love. She walked out of the bathroom while tikki hide in her purse.

As Mari sat down in her seat she saw that chloe was in the same class as hers again. "Ugh again" Mari said with a sigh. alya, her best friend, sat down next to her and showed her her mark

"Look, look, look..it's headphones" alya said happily. alya and Mari immediately looked at nino, then looked back at each other. As alya was smiling Mari smiled a fake smile. "I'm happy for you alya" Marie said. She was happy I mean her best friend got the man she wanted.

During her first period, there was person who ran into the classroom. "An akuma!" she yelled with fright in her voice.

Mari and adrien stood up and ran out with the rest of the class, the rest of the class was heading to their house, but adrien and Marie went to the PE locker room. It's the only place where no one will see them transform.

" god I hate first days of school" she said with a sigh.

"First I got Chat Noir's mark and Chloe is in my class...again, fifth year in a row. then and akuma attack and class hasn't even started "

"Mari I know you having a bad day, and first days aren't your thing but be positive." tikki said smiling as Mari clearly was not.

"I'll try." Mari said with a small smile and rubbed the back of her hand against tikki's cheek.

"Well spots on Mari." tikki said with excitement.
