Mark of a Hero part 3

"Ha ha ha ha..you think you can beat me?" she said with Ladybug's yoyo in her hand and she launched herself away to the eiffel tower just as Chat Noir came up next to Ladybug .

"Ugg!" Ladybug said as she stomped her foot down and crossed her arms. "Why do I have to do this?"

"Milay, please calm down" Chat Noir said extending his hand. Ladybug hesitantly put her hand in his as a tear rolled down her face. Chat went closer to her and wiped away her tear and hugged her. Ladybug hugged back as she started sobbing. Chat didn't know why she was, but he was happy to help her.

"What's wrong?" chat said hugging her tighter.

She backed away a little. "I-I I'm sorry chat" she said as she looked down. "I really don't want to talk about it."

Chat nodded his head a little, and sighed. "Ok...i understand, but just know that no matter what it is, you can talk to me."

Ladybug smiles a little and nodded her head. She had remembered when she was a little kid, her dad was reading her a story about princesses and princes. She had claimed she wanted a prince that was so handsome that you couldn't believe it, it was true, she did want a prince.

"But before you go and marry the handsomest prince there is" her dad said with a small laugh " you need to understand that your prince needs to also care about you, will always be by her side, and most important love you, for who you are" her dad said while putting his hand on her heart.

The whole time he was taking Mari had a look on her face of amazement. She nodded her head.

"I will daddy" she said "I'll find someone to care for me, just like you do." she said smiling, but the next day her dad died in a horrible car crash when he was on the way to a baker's convention. It was only a few miles away, so she could still see it barely. She saw the black car, she was young so she didn't know what kind of car it was, but she saw it driving down the wrong road, it crashed into her father's car, her father when flying out the window and crashed on a broken piece of a car. A man who saw the whole thing when over to him hoping to help him. When that had happened she was stunned she had no clue what had happened to her father, but once she saw the man running to him, screaming "someone call the ambulance!!!" she had started running to him screaming and crying "daddy... daddy!!" her mother had held her back by her waist. She wanted to see her father, she managed to get out of he mother's grip and ran to her father. She sat next to him with her chest beating wildly, she didn't want to imagine what it would be like with a life that didn't have her father, she sat down and put her small hands on her father. "Daddy, what happening?"

"Im g...going t..to be gone...for a ...while" her father said as he took his last breath and closed his eyes.

"Daddy!" she said crying. "Daddy, where are you going?" she said shaking him. "For how long" her mom walked up behind her crying, and sat next to Mari and held his hand.

"Goodbye honey" her mom said as she kisses his head and laid on his shoulder.

"Where is daddy going" Mari said crying, she had never loved anyone more that she loved her father.

"To heaven" her mom said crying.

A while later as the ambulance came and took him away, they told Maris mom that he isn't going to make it. She bursted out crying, Mari was still wondering what was happening, she when over and hugged her mom

"Mommy where's daddy going" Mari said still crying, she was confused.

"He going away forever honey" her mom said about to pick her up.

"What!?" Mari said running to her dad, just as the doors to the ambulance closed with her father in it.

"Daddy!" she said banging on the door. "Daddy~!" she said as she feel to the ground crying.

"He's gone...forever."

For the rest of her life she had remembered that moment, and had searched for someone to love and care for her like her dad did.

Ladybug looked in Chat Noir's eyes, saw how he actually meant it

"I'll always be with you, or at least by your side, forever" chat said.

Once Ladybug had heard that she looked away crying thinking of her dad, and how she will never see him again.

She ran away from Chat Noir and headed to the akuma, Chat Noir knew he had said something that reminded her of her past, this had happened a couple times. She had told him that it reminded her of her dad, he doesn't know what happened to him.

He followed her knowing he had said something wrong. He was dying to know what had happened.

"Anti Bug!" Ladybug screamed as she landed behind anti bug.

"What? Did I do something wrong?" anti bug said with a smirk as she looked at Ladybug .

Chat Noir lands right behind anti bug silently and put a finger over his mouth.

Ladybug saw that and quickly looked back at anti bug.

"Oh you'll know" Ladybug said grabbing her yo-yo.

Chat Noir grabs his staff and wrapped it around her waist so she couldn't move. Ladybug quickly threw her yo-yo and it wrapped around anti bug so with Ladybug and Chat Noir having her in a jam. Chat Noir quickly grabbed her earrings and threw it to Ladybug .

"For you milady" chat said as anti bug fell to the floor.

"Why thank you" Ladybug said with a grin as she caught the earrings and broke it. "Bye, bye little butterfly" Ladybug said as the akuma flew out of the earrings. "De evilized!" she said loudly when the earring where in the air, a wonderful blast of pink light. Flew around the city, fixing all of the thing the akuma had destroyed. Ladybug had looked down, and like every time she had done that Chat Noir's eyes were fixed on her with a small smile on his face.

But when chat saw that Ladybug was looking down, he walked over to her and hugged her.
