"justin?" raegan asks. i pull away. "no. this isn't real!" i shout. he lifts my head up and wipes the tears i didn't know were there. i put my head down again, just to look back up him. i rich his face like i've never seen it before.

this is real.

i grab his body and pull him toward me and hug him. he hugs back. "what happened baby?" he asks. "i-i killed you.." i reply in a hushed whisper. "what? how?" he asks, frantic. "i was forced to shoot you.." i reply again. "by who!?" he asks. "i-i dont know. a guy." i say. tell me about your dream." he says sweetly. "ok.." i say.

we walk into school. hand in hand. i didn't eat breakfast. too fat. "sup dudes!" kale yells walking up to us with ryan, jack, and kenna. "hey hoes." i reply laughing. we all start walking to class and stuff. i stop by my locker with raegan and put in the combo.

i grab my stuff and start walking with raegan to our class. only to be tripped. "faggot bitch." i hear. i see a tall guy with brown hair. blue eyes. and a football jersey on.

"fuck off rapist bitch." i reply. "what'd you just say?" he asks as i get on my feet. "you heard me." i reply. "yeah. i did. i just wanted to know if i heard you correctly." he says. "so go ahead. repeat yourself." he adds. "you heard what you heard. now fuck off." i say smiling. he just stares at me. i can feel myself shaking. even though i'm pretty strong for how small i am, i'm afraid he's going to hit me.

"wow." he says. raegan starts fidgeting with his fingers. hes nervous. "now scurry along." i day waving my hands like i'm dismissing him. he starts to raise his clenched fist. i quickly hit him in his jaw. he falls down and quickly gets up and runs off.

my hand hurts like a bitch now.

i grab rae's hand and start walking to class with him.

"why were you two late?" my english teacher asks. "well jason cordove tripped me and called me a name so i punched him in the jaw." i reply. "and you raegan?" she asks changing the subject. "i was with him." he replies. "take a seat." she tells us. clearly annoyed.

as we sit down at lunch i immediately put my head down because i have a head ache. ughhhh. i start to fall asleep when someone sits next to me. i look over to see kale. and no one else at the table. "what's wrong? you haven't been eating these past two days." he says. "not hungry." i reply. "not this again justin.." he says quietly. i look down and start playing with my fingers.

"will you please eat something today?" he asks. i then see someone walk in the cafeteria and i look over. danny. that's..THATS DANNY!! i get up and start running to him. "dan!" i yell. "JAY!" he yells louder. i jump into his arms and he catches me. surprising. he puts me down and we walk over to the lunch table. i sit next to raegan with danny on my left. i'm so happy he's here.

"raegan? can i have some of your chips?" i'm ask. he nods and hands me the bag. i eat them all. kale looks happy with me. i laugh to myself and continue to steal raegans food.

6th period. art.

"alright students! today we're going to start a project!" he says. i look over to raegan and smile. i love art class. i love art in general. he smiles back and grabs my hand. we look back to the teacher and he starts doing partners. he pares me with raegan and the other guy at our table. derek.

"raegannnnn" i whine. "whaaaattt?" he mocks. "carry me." i say. he laughs and picks me up. he carries me outside and to my car. he sets me in the driver side and goes over to the passenger side. i put the keys in the ignition and start my car. i put my seat belt on and start driving.

we get home and go in. we sit on the couch and watch netflix.

raegan phone starts ringing and he picks up. "hello?" he asks. a long pause "oh...sure.." he sounds sad. he hangs up and i see the caller id. his mom? he puts his phone down and looks down at me. "c-can i stay here for a few we-weeks...?" he asks. he's about to cry. i pull him into a tight hug and nod. "yes." i say. his breathing hitches and i know he's crying. i pull away and wipe his tears.
