chapter 5

"yeah? what is it?" i ask nervously. "well, your mother and i are getting a divorce." he says. i'm so happy right now!! "wait..really!?" i yell happily. "yes, but your mom and Danny are moving out.." he says. "oh god..." i say. i can't lose Danny.

i burst out in tears and sob to myself. i hear someone walk in and i look up and see danny. i run into his arms and hug him tightly. i pull away and look at his face. i just start crying even harder.

"woah. justin what's wrong!?" he asks. i look to dad and he just looks sad. "you and your mother are moving out." he says. danny looks at me. "wh-what about justin?" he asks. "he'll stay with me at this house." dad says.

danny just starts crying. i hug him until dad tells him to go pack. danny nods and goes upstairs.

it's been a few days and today's the day danny moves out. i've been crying these past days and Raegan has helped a lot. he makes me happy.

i go downstairs with Raegan following. "i'm going to miss you." i say to dan with tears in my eyes. "i'll miss you too.. but hey, womb mates for life, right?" he asks with tears filling his eyes as well. i nod and pull him into a hug.

i go over to 'mom' and say goodbye. i'm happy to see her go. she says bye and leaves. i hug danny one last time, "hey! this isn't 'goodbye' this is, 'see you later'" he says and smiles. i smile back and hug him again. he walks out and goes to the car.

i go back upstairs with rae and sit on my bed. "he's gone." i say laying down and looking as the ceiling. "he's not." Raegan says. he pulls me into a hug and kisses my head. "i-i'm r-ready to ta-talk about it." i say. "it, IT?" he asks. "yes." i say. i pull away and look at him. "alright." he says. "so what exactly happened?" he asks.

"well, when i got there, i went over to Jason and he offered me a drink. i noticed he didn't even have one for himself, but i still accepted the drink. and he kept offering me drink, after drink, so i got really drunk and he leaned in to kiss me. i had NO idea what i was doing so i kissed back. then it god sexual...i don't remember anything after that besides him taking me upstairs and raping me. i saw someone walk in, you obviously. but at the time i didn't know who at the time. he stopped and left and i found the strength to get up, so i do. i get dressed and walk home. i took a shower, i got out and grabbed my blade...and well, i cut..." i say, crying through the whole thing.

he pulls me back into a hug and tells me it'll be okay. but it won't be. i shove him away and run into the bathroom, remembering to lock it this time. i grab my blade and rip the bandage from last time off. i dug the blade i'm really far and i scream in pain. "FUUUUCKKKK" Raegan is about to break the door down at this point.

i continue to dig it in my skin many times until the world feels like it's spinning. then suddenly, everything goes black, and the last thing i see, is Raegan's beautiful face.
