Dearest Lafayette,

It saddens me to hear about the accident you had in battle. I am not able to sit by your side and comfort you right now, for I have been sent home by General Washington. I promise, as soon as I return from what I hope is this temporary suspension, I will kiss you and I don't care if anyone sees.

I would love to know how you are doing. And please, dearest Lafayette, try and convince the General to send me an invite to return to camp.

Your's Forever,

Alexander Hamilton

Alexandre, Mon Cheri,

Thank you for your wishes. It means a lot to me. I did have a conversation with the General for toi. It was...intéressant...

He said you can come back to camp but he...knows about our little relationship.

It turns out that the General would like to bring you back and have you lead an army. Oh, Alexandre, I miss toi dearly

J'taime, Mon Amour

Marquis de Lafayette
