Chapter 5

I awake in a room with no one in my sight. I start to panic.
"Thomas! Newt! Can anyone hear me? Help!" I yell
"No one can hear you (Y/N), at least not your friends" I hear a woman say and I turn around to see Ava
"What have you done with them?"
"They're alright, they're in the same position you are in"
"No don't let Newt be alone, it'll kill him"
"Why would that be the case?"
"He's sick"
"I'm sorry but we do have to test you guys. We brought you back here for it"
"No, please don't. Just let us go"
"You used to understand (Y/N). You used to let us test you. What's changed?"
"You changed me. You put us all in that maze where we could've been killed. You destroyed the Right Arm camp!"
"I'm sorry but, we need to find a cure for the flare and if you're fighting against us. We have to do it the hard way. You caused it"
"Don't be blaming me!"
"I've gotta go now, have fun for a week" Ava says and leaves the room and I run to the door and start banging on it.
"Let me out! Let me out! I want my brother! I want Newt! Let me see them!" But it was no use. I then slide to the floor and cry in a corner. We were trapped.

Every day, a guard would bring food and a drink in and then leave whilst I'd sit here, alone, bored out of my mind. Ava would come in every so often and ask questions. I'd refuse to answer most of them. I was just worried for Newt and Thomas. What was happening to them? And today, I'd find out just that.
"Alright, your test if up, let's get you to the showers" a guard said who unlocked my door.
"I want to see Newt first"
"You will, after you get cleaned up" he says and pushes me through the door.

I get changed into some jeans and a white shirt and put on some sneakers and then leave the bathroom and follow the guard to a room. In the room I see my brother and I run over to him and jump into his arms.
"Oh my god (Y/N), you're ok" Thomas says holding me close
"Yeah you too. Where's Newt?"
"I don't know I just heard he did something"
"What do you mean?"
"He knocked out a guard when he was leaving the room. He knocked the guy out and another one had to 'control' him before letting him see us"
Just then we hear the door open up and Newt is walked in by a guard holding his arms behind his back. Newt didn't look himself. He looked miserable, angry, scared and confused. The guard then let's him go and Newt rubs his wrists, he'd obviously been hand cuffed and I go over to him and embrace Newt in a hug but he just stands still and stays quiet.
"You ok?" I ask and then he breaks and falls to the ground crying.
"I don't know what's happening to me anymore! I can't control myself! I'm angry all the time! I get headaches and I feel sick 24/7! I'm scared! I don't know what's happening!" Newt cries and I hug him as I feel his tears drench my shoulder and Thomas comes over to us as well and sits on the floor.
"Newt everything's going to be ok. You're just stressed and you need to calm down. We're alright. You're going to be fine" I smooth whilst rubbing his back and he starts to stop crying.
"I'm sorry"
"Newt, it's ok to be upset. You're scared. We all are. We have no clue what's happening and you're going through a weird stage where most likely stress is making you like this" Thomas says putting his hand on Newt's shoulder. I then give Newt another hug but as I do. I see something that terrifies me. I was about to speak up when I was interrupted.
"Thomas, (Y/N), Newt! You're here!" I hear Minho yell as he runs over to us and skids to a halt and we all have a group hug.
"Minho it's so great to see you, it's been so long" Thomas says
"Sure has been, and Newt are you ok? You look upset"
"Yeah I'm fine I guess, just stressed I suppose"
"Ok well the others should be here soon and you're going to get the shock of all your lives when you recognise one of them"
"What's that meant to mean?" I ask
"You'll find out now" I hear Aris say as he enters the room along with Teresa and someone with a hoody on.
I glare at Teresa and she looks at the floor apologetically.
"(Y/N), don't be thinking of killing Teresa, she's cool. We'll explain in a minute when you see our old friend" Minho says and the guy takes off the hoody revealing...
"Gally?"
