Eating hadn't always been a struggle for Min Yoongi.

As a kid, Yoongi ate a healthy diet. He had the correct proportions for every component of food he needed and he was fairly slim. He wasn't unhealthily skinny like some kids in his class.

Around 7th grade Yoongi noticed that he was a different size then most of his classmates. He was slightly chubbier. When Yoongi asked his mom about this she said it was because he started puberty earlier. But Yoongi didn't even listen to her words. All he knew was that he was bigger then most of his classmates. That needed to change.

In 9th grade Yoongi didn't spend most of his time worrying about his weight anymore. He spent his time studying and working hard to get good grades. Until one day when Yoongi's friends asked him about how much he weighed.

"I think I'm kinda fat. My weight is 110 pounds! What's your weight, Yoongi?"

"I'm 140 pounds."

"Wow. And I thought I was overweight."

In 10th grade Yoongi finally took action to lose weight. He tried exercising but he didn't lose weight fast enough! Yoongi thought that  maybe cutting out lunch will help and his mom wouldn't even be able to notice.

Yoongi started to cut out his lunches and instead went to the school library to finish work. But cutting out lunch just wasn't enough. So, breakfast came next. His parents weren't even awake when he left for school so they wouldn't be able to notice, and they most likely didn't care.

Most days when Yoongi came back from school, it consisted of him going to sleep. Exhaustion was the only thing Yoongi could feel. His bones ached with every movement but it still wasn't enough.

Yoongi started to cut out dinner too. His parents recently got a promotion from their job and didn't come home until late at night.

After cutting out all his meals he still didn't see any change. His thighs were still so thick and his belly was so huge that if he was a girl most people would think he was pregnant. He was disgusting.

Except, he wasn't. His thighs didn't touch and were inches apart from each other. His limbs were as thin as a twig. Most of his classmates were scared of breaking him by just touching him.

In 11th grade Yoongi fainted for the first time.

After taking a nice hot relaxing shower, he stepped out and dried himself off. Breathing became tough from all the steam circulating in the bathroom. Yoongi was quick to open a window but by then Yoongi couldn't breath. Yoongi rushed to his bedroom because the need to lay down was overwhelming. He stepped into his bedroom quickly but all that Yoongi could think of was I can't breath, I can't breath, cold, cold, I need something cold-

Yoongi felt the cold floor, on his right cheek feeling most of the impact, before he fell into darkness.

In 12th grade Yoongi's parents and friends finally noticed what had been happening to him.

After graduating Yoongi spent his summer in a hospital to 'get better'. He was forced to eat 3 meals a day but he would mostly throw them up. When he was caught he was punished by eating more food, and being banned from going to the bathroom alone.

In the hospital Yoongi finally noticed that all he ever wanted was to hear, "Are you okay?"

He just wanted someone to care.

Summer ended and Yoongi was let go from the hospital. He already had a scholarship to a college all the way in Seoul and he quickly accepted when given the invitation. Being away from his parents meant he could stop eating without them being in his business.

The first day of college was when Yoongi meet 'them'.

The six boys that will forever change his life.
