Chapter 3: Made

Just as I heard the shower come off, signaling Anna’s incredibly long shower had ended, there was a knock at the door. I got up and answered it see Nathan and the others smiling.

“Hey,” I smiled, “what’s up?”

“We aren’t doing the music video until tomorrow, so we were going to head to the beach and hang out if you guys want to come?” Jay responded cheerfully.

“Okay, Anna just got out of the shower so we’ll have to wait for her to finish, come on in.” I opened the door wider to let them in and made my why to the bathroom to tell Anna.

After Anna had finished we all made our way down to the beach. I was slowly trailing behind, getting distracted by the beautiful flowers and other plants that I saw. I get distracted easily. Nathan looked back to see me moving like a snail and rolled his eyes. I just smiled and waved. The next thing I know he was picking me up and throwing me over his shoulder.

“Put me down!!” I squealed causing everyone in our group to look back and laugh.

“Sorry love, but you were being too slow.” He laughed and continued walking. I groaned and started to hit on his back. “That’s only going to make things worse,” he grinned and started running. I try to see where we’re going but it was not use. Soon enough I saw us passing the group who had found a nice sport to hang out and laugh at me.

“Nathannnn pleaseee!” I whined starting to catch on to where he was going. He shook his head and dumped me into the water. I just sat there and looked up at him. He was obviously proud of what he had done, judging by the huge grin on his face. He chuckled and reached his hand out for me to grab. I grabbed it and pulled him in. He landed on top of me and we stayed there for a while.

I couldn’t stop looking into his beautiful eyes. I couldn’t help but smile, I don’t know why, but just being around him made me happier. He smiled and got up, ending the moment and putting a million thoughts into my head.

I stood up and walked back of the boys and Anna, who were currently attempting to build a castle, but failing miserably. I glanced at Nathan who was watching the castle disaster.

Maybe he isn’t interested. Maybe he just brought me along for Jay and Anna, and maybe I’m nothing more than a friend.

I sighed and looked around. “I’m going for a walk” I started to turn. They all nodded and said okay as I walked away.

A couple minutes later I heard someone running up behind me, I ignored it thinking it was some random stranger.

“Hey” I heard a familiar voice say behind me, I turned around to see Nathan standing there.

“Oh hey, I thought you were just some random person jogging on the beach.” I laughed a little and he smiled.

“I can be someone jogging on the beach if you want to be alone.” He looked down at me, our eyes meeting once again.

“No it’s fine,” I turned back in the direction I was walking, “you can come too.” I smiled as he met my side.

“So what are you doing walking all by yourself.” He looked at the water.

I shrugged, “I like walking on the beach, it’s nice.” I looked around. He chuckled and looked back at me.

“Cute” He smiled. I laughed and rolled my eyes.

We walked in silence for a few minutes, it wasn’t the awkward kind either, it was the good kind of silence. I could feel him watching me, and the next thing I know, his arms wrapped around my waist and pulled me close and pushed his lips on mine. He smiled and pulled his head back and leaned his forehead against mine.

Honestly, I was shocked; I couldn’t believe that just happened. Our eyes were locked and he just held me. I had no words, I was just speechless.

“Wow,” I finally managed to get out after a few minutes. He just chuckled and quickly pecked my lips before straightening myself and letting go of me.

“We should probably head back, I’m sure they are wondering where we are.” He smiled and took my hand as we slowly made our way back.

After leaving the beach we all decided to grab a bite to eat. I still hadn’t been able to wipe the smile off of my face and Anna could obviously tell.

“You okay, Christa?” She asked. Was I okay? I was better than okay. Nathan Sykes just kissed me, he’s actually interested in me. For once a guy had kissed me for real, not for a bet, not to get another girls attention, not to lead me on then hurt me. He kissed me, because he had feelings for me. Was that even possible? Someone getting feelings for you, even if you’ve only known them for a day? Nathan was perfect. Yeah he was famous, but who cared? He was more than just a good singer, he had these beautiful eyes, his fringe fell carefully of his face—but it wasn’t too long—he had this amazing laugh to fit in perfect with his sense of humor. Everything about this guy was just amazing. I never wanted to leave his side.

“Christa?” She waved her hand in my face, bringing me out of my thoughts. “Anybody there?”

“Huh?” I looked at her. “What did you say?”

“I asked if you were okay.” She laughed a little.

“Yeah,” My smile grew—if that was even possible, “I’m perfect.”

We were making our way to our hotel rooms laughing and talking. I noticed Anna and Jay had gotten really close, probably not as close as Nathan and I, but close. Nathan was walking by my side when we reached our rooms. All the boys—except Nathan—had said goodnight, needing their sleep for tomorrow’s big video shoot, and walked into their room. Anna unlocked the door and walked in, not noticing I had also lingered behind.

Nathan smiled and kissed me. “Goodnight Christa, see you tomorrow.” He bent down to give me one last peck on my cheek and turned around walking into his hotel room. I smiled and walked into my room and went straight to bed.

I closed my eyes, thinking about the kisses, and Nathans amazing smile, and slowly drifted off to sleep.

When I walked into the hotel room I saw the boys messing around, being their usual selves. All I could think about was Christa, she was just amazing. I know I had only met her a day ago, but I feel like I’ve known her all my life. I loved everything about her; her straight brown hair, bright blue eyes, sweet smile, and her amazing laugh. Not to mention she was fit too. I could tell she had at least a little bit of feelings for me too just by the way she looks at me.

I looked around and flopped down on my bed, still thinking about Christa. Soon enough Jay came in. 

“Hey Nath.” He smiled.

“Ello” I replied, staring up at the ceiling.

“Do you think Anna is interested in me?” He asked. I thought about the way Anna acted around Jay, she was always flirting. She was easier to read than Christa that’s for sure. When I kissed Christa for the first time, I was just going for it, I had no clue what her reaction would be, and I was pleased when she didn’t hit me or run.

“Definitely” I looked at him. “Go for it mate.”  He smiled, obviously happy with my answer and walked over to his bed.

“Night” He said before shutting off the light and crawling under his cover. I rolled over getting more comfortable and slowly fell asleep.

Authors Note: There we go, a proper long chapter for you all. Well as long as it gets, (for noww). haha anywho. I feel like I should share that this took up 3 pages in my doccument, so there. haha :P
