Christa

I was putting my hair up into a messy bun when I heard my front door open. “Anna is that you?” I yelled as I looked around in my closet for a pair of sweats. It was different living in California, the people, the weather, everything. I could honestly say I missed Nathan and everyone else of course but mostly Nathan. That’s why as soon as I got settled into my apartment I made it a part of my everyday routine to call Nathan. I felt incredibly stupid for being so difficult back in England and I wanted to change that.
Nathan always seemed to know exactly what to say to me, even if I didn’t want to hear it at the time, it’s like he knew it would eventually sink in and I’d realize and I’d have to give in eventually. It just seemed easier to give in when I wasn’t anywhere near him.
I felt someone’s arms slip around my waist and soon after Nathans voice flooded my mind saying “Hey” as he kissed my cheek. I wasn’t letting this boy get away with more than just a kiss on the cheek. I turned around and looked at him for a second, I missed those greenish-blue eyes, then I pressed my lips to his.
I couldn’t lie kissing him was probably the best choice I have ever made. I have never felt so good in my life. Being with him made me happy, and I wasn’t ready to let that go. I wasn’t ready to let him go.
I pulled away and smiled at him cheekily. “I’ve missed you so much.” He smiled picking me up and spinning me around. Everything felt so perfect; it felt like it was all a dream, or a movie, either way I didn’t want it to end.
“I’ve miss you too love.” He mumbled into my hair.

I woke up the next morning, still smiling from the night before. I rolled over to find Nathan wasn’t next to me anymore. I tried to remember if he left or not, but all I remember was talking to him until I fell asleep. I get up looking around my room to see if there were any signs of a note or anything. “Looking for something love?” He asked me catching me off guard and making me jump. I turn around to see him in new clothes and his hair still wet from the shower. I shook my head smiling and kissed him gently on the lips. “I’ve got to get to the studio, but I’ll see you later tonight?” His sparkling eyes looked down at me.
“Yup” I nodded and gave him one last goodbye kiss as I made my way to the shower.

I didn’t think it was possible to be this happy. I mean, everything was just going right for me now, I don’t know what I did, but I’m glad I did it.
I walked into the studio smiling brightly and everyone seemed to notice.
“You alright Nath?” Max asked.
“I’m great, what about you?” I threw an arm around Max’s neck. “So what are we writing about today? What do you need me to do?” I sat down with a notepad and pen.
“I don’t think I’ve seen Nath this happy in a year or so…” Jay looked from the guys to me and then back to the guys.
“What? A guy can’t be happy without people judging him?” I looked up at them, still smiling. I don’t think I was ever going to stop smiling. Today was just an amazing day.
“We don’t have to judge you to know what’s going on in your mind mate.” Max chuckled lightly. “I love Christa so much! Christa loves me! We’re going to run away and get married!” Max joked, imitating me.
“Whatever mate.” I laughed and rolled my eyes. “But seriously what are we writing about today?”
We passed lyrics back and forth and talked about what we wanted to sing and what not. This took up most of the day and finally near the end we got to sing. This made me smile even more, I loved my job, it just makes my day even better.
After we were finished in the studio the guys went back to the hotel and I went back to Christa’s. I walked in and sat next to her on the couch. She smiled and kissed my cheek.
We sat in silence for a few minutes before Christa spoke. “Nath?” She looked at me with worried eyes. “What’s going to happen when you leave L.A.?” I thought about it for a minute then smiled and pulled her onto my lap.
“Well, we have a few options there...” I kissed her cheek. “You could come with us, after getting rid of your apartment and go back to London. I could take you with us, without your permission. OR you could move back to London and meet us there in about three weeks.” She smiled and shook her head.
“You do realize that I have a job, right?” She asked staring into my eyes.
“So do I.” I stated knowing she probably wasn’t going to win this one. “And you could move in with me, Anna and Jay for a while, then you and I could look at flats together and then move in with each other.”
“So basically, your telling me to quit my job, move back to London with you, where you’ll buy us a flat and we’ll move in together, and you continue your job, while I’m at home with nothing to do, which is the same ‘home’ that my boyfriend is paying for, without the slightest bit of help from me?” She raised her eyebrow at me.
“I never said you had to just stop working all together. I mean, if you want to feel like you’d be doing something to help us financially then go for it.” I kissed her lips and pulled her closer to me, this girl didn’t have a choice to be honest, she was coming back to London no matter what.
