He Saves Your Life (Mike-ro-wave)

There is absolutely nothing wrong with doing a spot of weekend shopping so that's exactly what you did, just to give yourself a bit of a treat. (lol im cringing at this)

After a while, your arms started to ache from carrying all the bags and your legs began to feel tired so you chose to head back home.

You decided to head down a decrepit, narrow alleyway as a shortcut to the car park and everything seemed just fine until you felt large hands shoving your back against the side of a brick building.

It wasn't long before the cold edge of a knife was pressed against your neck, stinging your skin as it threatened to draw blood.

"I want your phone, jewellery, wallet, everything. Quickly give it to me now or I'll kill you." A man snarled at you behind his mask, adding slightly more pressure onto the blade against your throat.

"How the hell could she possibly do that with a knife at her throat? One move and she's doomed." A cocky voice remarked from behind the assaulter and you could feel the man shake with rage. He removed the blade and turned around to face whoever was behind him.

"How dare you criticise my robbery techniques." The criminal screamed, clearly enraged at whoever had disrupted his 'brilliant' and 'flawless' plan.

When the criminal moved, your eyes met a tall guy in a red costume with a long, silk cape cascading down his back. A black mask obscured half his face and his red hair was spiked to perfection.

"Mike-ro-wave at your service." He grinned.

The criminal only had a split-second to flash a look of confusion across his face before the red-caped hero slammed a hard fist into his jaw.

He then snatched fistfuls of the offender's hair and yanked his head downwards, smashing the bridge of the criminal's nose on his black knee-guards before giving him a complementary kick in the balls.

The robber was left writhing on the ground, groaning in pain as he clutched himself in agony. A large purple bruise was already starting to become visible on the side of his jaw and his nose was streaming with crimson blood.

You looked up at your saviour in awe before realising how hard you were shaking. Mike-ro-wave gave you a lopsided grin before picking your shopping off the ground.

"I'm going to go and contact the emergency services. In the meantime, I believe this is yours." He smiled, handing the bags to you.

You took the shopping before staring at him in astonishment. "Th- thank you so much. Oh my god you have no idea how terrifying that was."

He winked at you before bringing you into a hug.

"Thank you." You whispered into his shoulder.

He pulled away and grinned at you before pushing a few errant strands of hair out of your face.

"My pleasure."
