"What is up my cranky crew, its Ethan from crankgameplays" Ethan said smiling. I sat next to him with a small smile on my face looking at the camera. Ethan looked at me and said "I have my lovely girlfriend here beside me" he said gesturing to me

"Hello" I said with a soft calm voice. Ethan looked back at the camera. "Today we are going to be doing a Q and A since you guys have requested it so much" he took a sip of his water "let's get into it" he said looking at me with kind eyes, but they weren't caring "would you like to go first (y/n)?" "Sure" I replied

"How is your relationship going" I said. I thought about what to say and sigh. "W-we're fine, I guess' I said looking at the ground. Ethan saw my sad eyes and said " yeah we are doing great"
We went on with the video.

"Are you thinking of getting a dog" I ask looking at Ethan. "Yeah, I'm thinking of getting one next month" he said smiling at the camera. "Maybe then your channel will actually grow" I mumbled. "I heard that" he laughed. I pushed out a fake giggle

*time Skip *

"Thank you guys so much for watching, hope you enjoyed, if you did make sure to slap that like button right in the face and I will see you guys in the next video, love you all stay cranky. Bye" Ethan said smiling at the camera. He turned it off and started editing the video, I sat in the chair going through my Instagram.

"(Y/n)" Ethan said quietly. I softly hum in response showing him he got my attention

"We can't keep doing this-" he said looking away from the computer into my eyes, I turned off my phone and looked at his. His eyes were glossy, he wanted to cry but he didn't "-and you know it" he continued looking at his hands in his lap

"I want it to work Ethan" I said walking over to him, I crouched in front of him "I want us to work" I started to feel something prickling my cheek, it was tears.

"I did- do too" he said placing his hand on my cheek and wiping the tears away with his thumb. "Don't cry" he whispered.

I opened my mouth to say something, but closed it almost immediately. I didn't know what to say. I stood up and took his hands in mine, making him stand up as well.

I look at him, taking a deep breath. He smelled like honey, the thought of our first date came to my mind as I remember us having a picnic, it was cold so we cuddled to keep warm and I could smell the honey. I miss that, I closed my eyes so that I wouldn't cry again

He kissed my forehead and said "Goodnight (y/n), see you in bed" he let go of my hands and walked to our shared bedroom. I opened my eyes and saw him standing in the doorway looking at the ground. He looked back at me and gave me a smile but it wasn't the one I came to love, they were emotionless. "I love you" he murmured.

"I love you too" I said walking to the bathroom, I looked in the mirror and started crying "I wish I knew what was wrong" I whispered to myself.

I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I went to bed seeing Ethan peacefully sleeping, there was a soft smile on my face.

I got into bed and fell asleep. Only to wake up the next day and once again pretend like nothing is wrong, when on the inside I'm slowly falling apart

It wasn't the best thing, but its worth being with him

At the end it is better than nothing
