"He doesn't like me Jane" I laugh as me and my best friend jane walks in the mall

"You are so oblivious (Y/n), he litteraly throughs himself at you every single day" She says moving her hands around.

As we were walking, Ethan came up in the conversation.

I have a huge crush on Ethan, but since the beginning I could see that the feelings were not mutual. It's hard having a crush on one of your friends, and i don't know how to handel the feelings

"He does not throw hinself at me, he doesn't even look at me the same way I look at him" I laugh, but still something deep down is hurting

I got over the fact that me and Ethan wil never be together, but for some reason deep down, my heart still tells me, that he might just have some feelings for me.

"You should really tell him" She says, placing her arm over my shoulder. "What?" I said and laugh "I'm not going to do that Jane" I continued. "You'll never know he likes you back if you don't try to tell him" She says. I take her arm of my shoulder and fix my long (h/c) hair.

"I don't want to be rejected" I say softly looking down at my hands. I've been scared of rejection my whole life. I never know how to handle the feeling, so I just ignore my love for someone.

Jane just shakes her head and says "Come on, we need to get home" I nod and we both start walking towards the exit and into my car.

The drive back home was silent, only for the soft music playing from the radio. I slowly turn into the driveway of our house. Jane and I have been living together for 2 years now. And I wouldn't have it any other way

Since the trip to the mall, Jane kept telling me to confess my feelings for the brown haired cutie, living only a block away.

And after a week, I finally found the courage to tell him. He invited me to come to his house, and I think it's the perfect time to tell him

I look in the big mirror in my room, making sure I look decent. I am standing in light blue skinni jeans, a white top with a light scarf around my neck. My makeup was light but still beautiful.

I sucked in one last breath, before grabbing my keys and walking to my car.

As I drive to Ethans house, I feel more nervous than ever. My palms are sweaty, and my breathing is uneven.

I quickly find his house, and pull into his driveway. I get out of the car, and walk over to his front door, and lightly knock on the dark brown door.

After a few seconds, Ethan opens the door with a giant smile. "(Y/n)" he says as he pulls me in for a hug. I wrap my arms tightly around Ethan's waist and breath in his intoxicating scent. As I pull away, Ethan pulls me into the house. "(Y/n) , I have something really important to tell you, I wanted you to know first" Ethan says leading me to the couch. I sit down "Yeah, what do you want to tell me Ethan" I ask smiling. "Well I will rather show you" he says. I frown my eyebrows, as he shows me a finger. Showing me to not move. He walks into the kitchen, and after a while he walks back out, his hand intertwined with another.

My heart shatters as I see him bringing out a beautiful brunette girl. She smiles and waves at me.

"(Y/n), this is my girlfriend" Ethan says looking at me

I smile and swallow the tears threatening to drop out of my eyes. "Ethan, Congratulations, You are very beautiful" I complement  the brunette next to him.

She smiles and thanks me "I'm so happy for the two of you" I say as I stand up and take my phone in hand. I start to walk to the door. "Where are you going" Ethan asked. "Sorry just got a text, Jane needs me" I like to the boy I love.

"Bye guys" I smile and wave as I exit the house. I climb into my car, and drive away. Tears start to spill out of my eyes, as I realized something
