Kathir walked me back to the car after the doctor managed to see me. After all I wasn't seriously injured and I had only bumped into a person. I don't even know how I fainted because of that.

Him walking me to the hospital meant nothing right? He's a decent guy and he probably has a girlfriend or something. He just seems like the guy everyone likes you know. I wasn't sure what to say to him. I barely know the guy yet my whole day was spent with him.

I didn't feel ready to go back home yet. Today was such a long day and having to explain myself to my dad, mum and brother was going to be long. Since I can't seem to he able to narrate events in a chronological manner. Anyway they were probably beserk now that I hadn't called them yet. I looked at my phone to see no missed calls.

Weird. Really weird.

Kathir glanced at me.

"Nithya, I texted your parents to let them know that you were getting training. "

I think my face had showed a perplexed look before because I felt my eyebrows move as I thought about what he had done. So he had told my parents a white lie but why? That was quite wierd but I guess it meant he handled things smoothly so they wouldn't come rushing and over reacting.

He started the car and drove. I rested my back against the seat and looked at the trees zooming fast. This was definately not London.

How was I sitting here without a worry in Kathir's car. I mean he was acting all too familiar with me when I didn't know him at all. This is so wierd. I guess I feel comfortable around him too. But that isn't normal right? Why am I feeling like this?

"Kathir where are we going?

This seems far away from London."

"What's wrong Nithya, is your head hurting again. Are you sure you are alright?"

His eyebrows furrowed, eyes full of worry. He stopped the car at the side of the road and turned as if he was studying me.

"No Kathir, answer me. Where are we going. I just met you today. I don't even know you're surname. Why are you taking me somewhere without telling me. I don't get it. Why do you care?"

Kathir seemed taken aback by what I had just said. I'm sure I didn't shout. I was right though wasn't I. We didn't know eachother and why did he act as if he cared.

"While I was waiting you to gain conciousness in the break room. Mrs Edwards told me that we are going to work on the project together. So we will be spending a lot of time together at work.

I like meeting new people Nithya, and I want to get to know you so we can work well and I want to take you to a place that is important for our assignment to start well. "

I sighed, realising that yet again I had assumed the worst. Here I am awkward Nithya sitting next to cool Kathir who's just a nice guy looking out for his partner. He was also sort of telling the truth to my parents because learning about him would be training to work with him.

"So Kathir, on this long road trip to the mystery place, why don't you tell me about yourself. So I can get to know you. "

He smiled.

"Well we have something in common we're both tamil. My family is important to me. I have a sister and two brothers. My parents are both retired and I am the middle child but they expect a lot from me. "

...

I got out of the car feeling relieved as the fresh air hit me. I could taste that salty breeze of te seaside. Oh wow how i had missed the seaside and its beauty. I looked down at my shoes ready to take them off, realising that they were smart shoes and I was in all the wrong clothes.

This was horrendous I was at the seaside but unable to enjoy the sand and the sea. Why couldn't have kathir come up with some way for me to get confortable clothes for the beach. Oh well I can't just diss kathir. Maybe now that we were partner's we would start to work here more and I would finally feel the cool blue sea.

Kathir was beaming. He seemed to know the place really well. Near the beach were some rocks. We sat across them staring into the ocean. We fell into a comfortable silence.

"I knew you'd love it here" Kathir said in a reminescent tone.

"How?"

"Ten years ago. I used to come here with someone. She is the best person I have known. I missed her so deeply when I had to move away from our town and I couldn't contact her. But always. Always I'd pray staring at the sea that she will be safe because I knew that someday she would visit here again and look at the same sea. Recently I found that girl and brought her here to the place that she loved the most. "

This was amazing. He found her. Wow so the world is really a small place.

"So do you both still have contact?"

Kathir turned with his eyes sparkling.

"Nithya, that girl is you."
