Lance's POV

It is a little after six at night, this old coffee shop doesn't have any customers this late so I decide to close up. I lock up the cabinets and put away all fridge based goods. I grab the old, broken, brown broom and try cleaning up.

I close the closet and grab a wash cloth. I hear a small ring from our golden bell, letting me know there is someone coming in to see.

"Sorry, were closed" I exempt myself from looking, I don't care anymore so Im not in the mood to treat someone. "Oh, my brother told me this place is usually open until 7."

Did they not hear what I just said? I turn around not really ready to put up an argument. I spy a young boy, his dark raven hair is soaking wet from the rain. His blue-violet eyes wander looking at the old vans signs on the walls.

I don't speak at all, I probably look like a creep just staring at him but he doesn't seem to care.

"Uh" I can't think of anything to say. He is a very interesting specimen to look at. "Oh, sorry I like the signs but.... uh are you okay?" he says catching me stare.

"Ya dude, what did you want" I just want this kid to leave already. "Well this is a coffee shop isn't it? Could I have just a plain black coffee?" the place hasn't closed completely so I grab a cup from the dark brown cabinet and make him a cup

"here" I choke up seeing that he has pulled his hair into a ponytail. geez this kid was cute. what? "thanks, is it always this empty, its pretty quiet" he sure does like to talk seeming as he is soaking wet.

"no, people don't casually come into an old coffee shop while its closed and they are soaking wet" I groan.

"You never know, it happens every now and then" get out "thanks again- dude are you sure you're okay? you look tired" leave me alone

"Im fine, just hurry up so I can go home" I meant what I said. He looks at me surprised. All of a sudden he looks like he is going to cry.

"I didn't know, no need to take it out on me" he gets up thanking me for the coffee and handing over the money. Suddenly he was gone.

"What is wrong with you lance, why do you always have to be so difficult. Sometimes I just wish you weren't alive"

I shake my head and rub my eyes. "Im so tired," I say this quietly so the cameras don't here me. I grab my green jacket, and my bag. Locking up the store, I suddenly feel a burst of wind. Its storming like crazy.

I pull my hood up and start to walk home. Today was shit. I just want to go home and sleep.

I go to the bus stop and wait in the bus station on the side of the rode. Its pouring. Rain is all you can see other than blurred lights. I don't really mind it, the rain is very comfortable to me. The bus pulls up with a loud screech sound and opens the door. I get in and try to not be a burden to the other passengers.

Of course, a dark raven haired, violet eyed, beautiful kid is sitting in my usual seat. I sit as far as I can away from him, he still hasn't noticed me.

After a while I decide to give my seat up to the nice old lady who works at the book store. I decide to stand and hold onto the bus pole while looking for a seat.

And as I would assume would happen, the only seat happened to be by the boy. He was reading and listening to music. "Maybe I can sit without him noticing" I think to myself.

Nope, just my luck, he notices me immediately and puts his bag on the empty seat. "Brev, just let me sit down, sorry for being a dick in the shop"

He doesn't say a word, I go to turn around as I see him pull his bag off the seat and stare at his black and white vans.

I slowly go sit down. Silence is the only thing heard on the bus for the next ten minutes. It doesn't bother me though, I listen to the rain instead.

The bus stops and I stand, this is my stop. You wouldn't believe who just happens to be standing at the same time.

I look over and he mouths the word walk. I get and walk home. He leaves the opposite direction, "thank god"

I turn to my house and get inside to see my roommate, hunk, asleep softly on the couch. I pat his head and lock the door. Bringing my bag upstairs, I hear the rain get louder. I kick my shoes off and throw my bag on my gamer chair.

I lay down and immediately fall into a calm sleep. I can still hear the rain throughout my sleep. Goodnight world, "maybe tomorrow I can see the coffee boy again" my mind traces.
