2 months.

It's been 2 months since I did Ethan's tattoo. Most people would've gotten over the stupid encounter but I couldn't bring myself to do it. There was something dragging my spirit to him. It couldn't really be explained but I could feel it.

Seinfeld told me that is was love at first sight, that I had met my soulmate, but I wasn't sure at all. I tried a couple of dates but, I never clicked with any of them. None of them were like him.

Of course, I told myself not to compare them to him, but I couldn't help it. The way he looked at me after he walked out of the parlor for that last time...

I didn't want him to leave... and neither did he. No matter how much he fucked up.

Seinfeld met someone, though. That's good for him. He's told me gays are super picky, so I'm happy for him. I really am.

I had a date to meet him that night actually. That's why I was getting ready.

I put down my fan brush and stared at myself in the mirror. I looked fine, but there was something off about me. It's been like that ever since he left.

I sound like the most cliché ass bitch right now, but now I get why people call significant others their other halves.

I have to get over it eventually though. Right?

"Does my bowtie look ok?" Seinfeld asked me.

I had never seen the poor guy so nervous.

"It looks fine. Why are you so jumpy? Haven't you been seeing this guy for a while?'

"I have, but he's bringing his best friend too, and I don't want to look like a complete idiot."

"so that's why I'm here?" I joked, trying to get him to lighten up a little.

"no. I would've brought you either way. Just try to play nice? Ok?"

"When am I not nice?" I grinned at him and he just rolled his eyes.

"I'm serious Sage. I really like him." He blushed and my heart melted.

"You're and amazing person with an amazing taste in friends. If he doesn't like you because of me, he isn't for you. I promise. Everything will work out in the end."

He stayed quiet for a couple moments before speaking.

"Sage, Thank you."

"For what?"

"For being in my corner all these years. Even when my own family was against me. I really do love you."

"I love you too, Matthew" I whispered, giving him a big hug. I pulled away and gave him a big wholesome smile.

"Enough with that sappy shit. We are those bitches. Let's do this!" He pumped his fist and we laughed, going into the bar and sitting down in our booth.

We waited for about two minutes until Seinfeld got a text on his phone. He smiled and smoothed his hair down.

"He's here." He nudged me and I squeezed his shoulder.

"Where? I want to meet the kid and talk some sense into him."

Seinfeld pointed me in the direction of a tall guy with bleach blonde hair and sparkling green eyes. He definitely works out. He looked just as nervous as Seinfeld as we waved him over.
