Beginning Of Freshman Year

"Well say something."

A few minutes has passed by, and the silence was killing me. I told her the truth, what else was I suppose to do?

"That's not fair Leo."

That's not fair Leo? What the hell was that suppose to mean?

"What the hell is that suppose to mean?"

I said, voicing my thoughts out loud.

"It means that you can't say these things and expect me to come run into your arms! This is not Hollywood."

Sarah rambled on, her voice becoming louder towards the end.

"You always told me to me to be honest about my feelings."

"This is not being honest with your feelings."

"Then what is this?"

"It's called being INCONSIDERATE."

She paused for a second and closed her eyes, about to say the words that I never ever wanted to hear.

"I am with Little Al."

Present Day...

"What the hell?!?!"

Sarah screamed, rushing towards Little Al.

This ruined my ego more. I wasn't the bad guy here! This prick was.

"Sarah I am fine."

I overheard Little Al mumble, awhile trying regain his balance. Sarah seeing his struggle puts out her hand , Little Al gladly takes it and forces himself to stand.

"Gonna punch me now?"

I asked him, hoping to set him off.

"No."

"And why not? Are you scared?"

"Because I don't need too. Look at yourself Leo, who is Sarah pissed at?"

His response made me lunge towards him again but then I felt a couple of arms pull me back.

"Hey son, this is an event. Put your pity fights somewhere else."

An old man said to me as 4 other guys held me back."

This earned a few nods from the crowd that we were drew in. All they did was pull out their phones and record. Pathetic. Bystanders was what they all were.

"Whatever."

I mumbled under my breath, starting to walk away from the crowd. I hated causing a scene, really I do. But I couldn't help it. That bastard deserved to be punched.

"Leo!"

I don't stop walking, instead I am starting to run, but it was to late, Sarah caught up.

"Don't you walk away from me Leo."

She stated, firmly placing herself in front of me. Sarah was always bold. That's one of the things I loved about her. But it was also a turn off as well.

"Or else what?"

I asked with a sneer, but then quickly regretting it.

"Sarah, I didn't mean it to come out like that."

Before I knew it, she was already walking ahead of me, why did I always have to screw things up? This was not how we should have greeted each other.

In the end, I linger back and watch her walk back towards to Little Al. She leans in and mutters a few words in his ear. He nods and opens his mouth to say something else, but quickly closes it as Sarah fell to the ground.
