*FlashBack*

(I always seemed to start a chapter with a flashback, ehh whatever c:)

"You can't go to London."

"And why ever not?"

Sarah replies back with an amused smile.

It's that smile, the one I could never get tired of. Sarah has crooked teeth, the top part is fine but her bottom jaw is overcrowded.

So her remark causes me to laugh, but she is right. 2 months will fly by. It's not like she was going to live there.

"Okay."

--------------------------------------------------------------------

"She is back?"

I repeat the statement once more, but more as a question.

"Well, when can I see her?"

I continued on to say, awhile I scratched the back of my head.

"Maybe tomorrow, but not today, I doubt the Lansters wants visitors right now, they just came from London dear."

Mom lectured on, giving me a stern look.

"Yes sir."

"That's Mam for you. Or Mom works as well."

She replied back teasingly, giving me a kiss on the forehead.

"Happy Birthday."

The day is pretty much over after that. Mom said that I was pretty much free to do whatever I wanted.

"Just don't come back stoned and I will be fine."

She said with a laugh, plopping herself down on the couch. Awhile watching her favorite show, "Chopped."

"I won't."

I said, waving goodbye, exiting the house.

Mom is convinced that all teenagers did drugs, no matter what they did or where they came from.

But I never tried them. Been offered yes, but I never found a reason to get high.

"Where are you?" I texted on my phone, looking for a familiar flash of blonde hair to past by.

"Right behind you sweetheart."

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

"Well speak of the devil."

I said with a smile, taking a minute to look at her.

Tess Marien.

Her hair was unbelievably messy, but it's okay though, it's all hidden away from her black beanie.

Her eyeliner was done dramatically, making her eyes look more cat like. And lastly, her lips was red. That's it. Her face was pretty much bare, making her more naturally beautiful.

"You look great."

"Don't I always?" She replied back with a smirk, awhile doing a twirl.

Her black dress spinning round and round. She looked like a ballerina.

"Okay do you have anymore compliments for me Harris?"

She asked jokingly, taking a closer step towards me.

"Hey, I thought it was my birthday, shouldn't I be the one getting all the compliments?"

I mumbled, giving her a soft smile.
