Chapter 16

Shouto opened his eyes. He was confused until he realized it was a dream. He got his hand and rubbed his head sleepily. 'I wonder where Izuku is', he thought.

He had been in jail for about 2 years after the heroes had him taken into custody. Those 2 years Izuku never came for him, or the League. Even after 2 years Shotou still longed for Izuku, like he was an addiction, a drug. He needed him, now.

He tried planing escapes but they never worked out. He sat on his bed, the sheets felt like plastic and the cell smelled of old sewage. Shotou was miserable. Suddenly he heard a loud bang. He looked up to see Bakugou glaring at him in his cell through the glass windows.

Miraculously he had made a full recovery from the incident in his apartment. Ashido had died. Bakugou was kept alive but with a ragged jaw and blind in one eye. Bakugou was in his hero costume, he held up his phone. It took awhile for Shouto to see what it was until he saw the whole picture.

"Izuku.," he whispered. Bakugou smirked.

"He's running out of places to hide, we'll be getting to him soon. So expect to see him a few cells away" he laughed.

"That can't be"

"Huh?"

"Izuku should be safe with the League!" Shouto yelled and walked up to the glass pane.

Bakugou laughed again "After you got captured he left, so now he's on his own, and I'm gonna be the one who gets him," he said. He turned and walked away. Shouto made a sudden realization.

'He left to go find me..' He thought. He needed to escape. He remembered that he couldn't use his quirk because of the braces around his wrists. If only he could break free. He then had an idea.

He got a stick and started to wedge through some opening cracks. The braces were waterproof therefore couldn't be broken. So if he could only break past the waterproof layer, he would be free.

He heard a satisfying crack as he broke through a crack in the brace. The technology parts vulnerably exposed. He walked over to the speakerphone where he could ask if he could use the bathroom.

He had to wait for a guard to come over and escort him. He walked over the to bathroom doors with a sturdy looking guard with broad shoulders.

He went into a bathroom stall where the toilet as up against the wall. He pretended to unzip his pants but pulling the zipper down to make it more believable.

Quickly he submerged his hands in the toilet water, his nose wrinkled in disgust. He could feel the braces loosening up as they fell into the toilet with a loud splash.

Suddenly he heard a loud thud on the door. The guard shouted from the other side. "Are you taking a dump?! You better hurry up!" he yelled.

'How is he not fired yet' he thought. He hurriedly checked to see if it worked. He tried activating his quirk for the first time in 2 years. It was successful. He was able to create ice from his left side. He smiled and looked up. He shot his flames toward the ceiling. It came burning down as he used his ice to climb his way up.

Alarms and red lights went off. He quickly sent his fire toward the walls of the prison. The loudspeaker was shouting out for heroes to go to the front. 'Wait the front?' He thought.

"Villain Deku is in the front, I repeat Villain Deku is in the front. Hero patrol 546 make your way to the front" The loudspeaker shouted. Shotou was beaming. He was here! Now all he had to do was go to him and they could escape.

He looked up to see a security camera filming Izuku. Izuku was on the small TV He had grown taller and had his hair combed back. Shotou couldn't help but stare and watch.

Heroes surround him keeping their distance. Bakugou ran towards the front to face Izuku. A hero was shouting for him to keep his distance but he didn't listen. He kept walking forward.

"Oi Deku long time no see" he said menacingly. Deku kept his position, not leaving Bakugou's gaze.

"Deku what are you doing? You wanna pick a fight?!" he yelled in anger. Explosives beamed from his hands.

Izuku laughed. "You know Kacchan the horribly ugly jaw suits you, and what's it like to be blind it one eye? Hah, your whole face is as messed up as you" he taunted.

Bakugou's anger exploded, he ran toward Izuku angrily ready to kill. A line of tape caught Bakugou. He struggled but couldn't break free.

"Let me go Cellophone!" He yelled. Sero had his tape wrapped around Bakugou keeping him in tight bondage.

"Let him talk, Midoriya why are you here?" Sero asked. Izuku smiled. He put his hand up in a zombie like position.

"Take me into custody, Heroes"
