Chapter 7

Midoriya sat on his old blue couch fiddling with his thumbs. Guilt flooded all over him. He had never meant to hurt Todoroki, but he had to follow Tomura's orders. It was all needed to become a villain. Flashbacks of when Tomura beat him flash in his head. He shook his head trying to wipe away the bad memory.

He had decided that once Todoroki woke up he would apologize and explain. If Todoroki still trusted him that is.

Suddenly a loud groan came from below his apartment. The sound vibrates under his feet. That meant that Todoroki was awake. He walked down to a fleet of stairs. He grabbed the handle as his foot made popping noises every time it touched a concrete step. It was dark and musty and didn't have the best smell in his basement, but he had gotten used to it. Once Midoriya made it to the bottom of the steps he saw Todoroki laying there.

Bloody gashes and bruises plaster his body like stickers. His wrist was swollen red from being chained to the wall. His bruised face made Midoriya's heartbreak. He regretted it, a lot. Guilt once again flooded into him again.

Todoroki looked up at Midoriya. His pupils grew narrow in fear. He tried to back away. Midoriya felt himself shatter, Todoroki looked vulnerable and helpless. Different from his cool and blunt look.

Midoriya rushed over to where Todoroki was chained, unchained him and hugged him. Midoriya's sobbing face buried in Todoroki's swollen arm. He hugged him tightly but not too tight where it would hurt Todoroki. He could feel Todoroki getting less tense as he kept hugging him.

"T-Todoroki-k-kun I'm s-s-sorry!" the words barely let out from all the crying. Midoriya then felt a hand wrap around him. Comfort swelled up inside him. Todoroki's hand was cold but at the same time had a sense of warmth as he hugged Midoriya back.

"Geez what kind of villain are you" he chuckled in a raspy voice.

Midoriya could feel his face get hot as he blushed a dusted light pink on his freckled cheeks. His pants got dirt and dust on them from him kneeling down on the floor.

Midoriya pulled away from the hug, they sat there in awkward silence for a few moments. Until Todoroki coughed up some blood as it splattered the ground. Midoriya jumped in surprised.

"Todoroki here I'll get you all patched up," he said holding out his hand for Todoroki to grab it. Gratefully Todoroki clutched onto Midoriya's hand as he hauled him up.

Surprisingly Todoroki tugged on Midoriya's hand as he swerved him around for another hug. Midoriya could feel himself burning up in embarrassment.

"Todor-" He was cut off by an 'shh' from Todoroki.

"Let me stay like this for a while" he whispered in Midoriya's ear. Midoriya nodded, still flushed in embarrassment. After a few moments, he hugged Todoroki back.
