Chapter 5

Todoroki surfaced ice beneath his feet while he rushed to the spot of Midoriya's location. Anticipation crawling within him like ants.

Once he got to his destination, he melted away the ice and walked toward the red dot showing on his phone. He swerved around a railing to see a laying close to the edge. The screen was cracked and shattered. Todoroki picked it up, now realizing that Midoriya wasn't here, he had been here. He put the phone back, disappointment flooded over Todoroki. He was about to go back until out of the corner of his eye he saw the blue light coming toward him.

Midoriya was jumping building to building until he landed on the rooftop of the factory. Todoroki saw relief in his eye as Midoriya picked up his phone. Midoriya looked up at Todoroki. Fear swept across his eyes.

"Todoroki-kun?!" he yelped in surprise. He was about to activate Full Cowl and escape but Todoroki stopped him.

"Midoriya wait! I'm not going to report you I'm just here to talk!" he yelled.

Midoriya stopped and looked back at Todoroki. "Are you sure no one knows I'm here?" He asked cautiously.

"No one" Todoroki hid his phone in his back pocket secretly. He didn't want Midoriya to see his screen. If he did the whole mission would fail.

Midoriya took a step forward carefully. His eyes filled with the curiosity of a child. "What did you need to talk about?" he asked. Todoroki closed his eyes hoping the plan would work.

"I want to join the League of Villains with you," he said, trying not to rattle his voice. Midoriya looked surprised, he was smiling? Midoriya took two more steps forward, almost in front of Todoroki.

"You? Become a villain with me? Bullsh*t!" he laughed. He held his gut while cracking up on the floor. Todoroki was confused. Why was he laughing?

Midoriya gasped and hauled himself back to his feet. "Why would you suddenly now become a villain when 3 days ago you were so determined to become a hero? How do I know you're not going on a secret mission for those Heroes" he sneered.

He said Heroes with such disgust it shocked Todoroki. Didn't Midoriya want to become a hero as much as he did? "Midoriya I'm serious. I want to become a villain with you, you inspire me so much I want to stay by your side. Hasn't our friendship meant anything to you?" He asked. Pain stabbed his heart.

Midoriya looked doubtful. He gulped and looked Todoroki right in the eye " I'll let you come with me, but you're going to have to do some things to prove your loyalty to me and the League of Villains" Todoroki nodded.

Midoriya signaled him with a wave of his hand to follow him. Todoroki surrounded his feet with ice as he looked at Midoriya. He activated his Full Cowl and headed off. Todoroki followed.

After a few minutes, they made it to a dark alleyway next to an old bar. It smelt of sewage and trash. The smell made Todoroki cringe. Midoriya looked back and saw Todoroki's reaction.

"You'll get used to it sooner or later," he said. He walked to a black door against the building. He grabbed the knob and twisted it open. The door creaked open as a soft bar light hit Todoroki's face.

Todoroki then saw all of Japan's most wanted villains sitting in the bar right in front of him.Fear then flooded him, Midoriya smiled at Todoroki. "Welcome to the League of Villains Todoroki-kun"
