9:38 PM

Y/N's POV

This mission is starting to get boring. Sitting here for hours and not doing anything literally makes my body sick. Maybe I'll go visit the gym on the weekends so I can have my body workout. 

It's already passed 9 PM and I still have my shift tonight till 11 PM because of the mandatory letter from above which summons me to be up till 11 for the security of all the system because of the incoming comeback of Blackpink. 

Oh yeah, Blackpink!

After what happened earlier at the rooftop, I somehow felt more comfortable with Jennie since I got to know her more. But, I also feel kinda awkward because of the sudden skinship between the two of us. 

I somehow feel guilty of feeling disappointed when she didn't do anything and acted like nothing happened when she woke up and went home. 

Ugh, I don't know! I'm starting to act weird oh my god. Come back to your senses Y/N-ah!!

After a moment of silence, I heard someone knock on my door. When I opened the door, I was welcomed by a yawning Irene. 

*Yawns* "Ohh! Y/N-ahh.."

"You look so tired Irene-ssi, do you wanna go grab some coffee?"

"I was about to ask you that! My treat now"

"Bu-"

"No but's! C'mon let's go!" Irene urged while grabbing my hand dragging me to the elevator.

While we were on the elevator, I can't help but smile to see Irene who is laughing hysterically with my jokes. She's the first person to laugh at those, even Ahjumma gets mad if I start telling her those same old jokes.

Irene was clinging on to me while her other hand holding her tummy. She really love my jokes huh?

"Yah! hahahahah Y/N-ah~-.." Irene was cut off when the elevator opened revealing four girls.

We both bowed with each other and as soon as I got a glimpse of Jennie's face, I tried to have eye contact with her but she just avoided my gaze.

Never mind, she might not be a bully anymore but heck yeah she's been a moody girl.

Jennie's POV

After what I did earlier, I feel so embarassed about it. I don't know what Y/N thinks now after I cuddled with her and left like nothing happened. But one thing's for sure, I made her heart beat fast.

When she was on my arms, I could feel how fast her heart was beating. And I think mine synchronized with hers.

Funny thoughts Jennie! Stupid girl!

Maybe we like each other? I don't know. I'll just leave it like that first. What's important now is that she's here close to my grasp.

I was smiling when I heard laughing noises. The sound gets nearer and nearer. And when the elevator opened, I saw Irene clinging on to her and calling her.. Y/N-ah~??!!

What the fuck?!

Why is she even flirting with another girl? Did she not feel that love when we were together earlier? Fuck! Fuck! Fuck!

I'll let you know Y/N.

Soon enough you'll understand that I'm better to be with, than her.

Y/N's  POV

After we grabbed some coffee from a nearby café, Irene immediately went home for an emergency. I hope everything's fine. Can't take to see her sad. Such a wonderful person to be stressed out.

Anyways, I'm now here on my office checking some stuffs on my computer when someone knocked on the door.

"Tok.. tok.. tok.."

"Come in, door's open" I said

When I heard the door opened, I immediately looked to see who visited me at this hour.

It's Jennie..

And she brought something?

"Hey.." she shyly ssid

"Hey what's up?"

"Ahmm.. nothing really, just heard you're staying late for our comeback's preparation.."

"Oh yeah.. good thing you came it's getting kinda boring here so.. yeah" I reasoned out

"I'm sorry.."

"For what? It's my job so you don't need to say sorry hahaha"

"Okay.." she said while pouting

"C'mon stop pouting hahaha come here sit beside me.." I then signalled her to a chair beside me

She obliged and sat while also putting down a lunchbox?

"I'm not pouting.." she retorted

"Yes you ar- Ohhh food??" I was cut off when I saw the food.

"I thought you were hungry so I brought some"

"From the cafeteria?"

"Hmm yep, but I'm the one who cooked this in the cafeteria.."

I nodded as I started munching down rice balls.

"Ermm itsh good" I complimented her

"Just eat stop talking"

"Okay, but you should eat also.." I said while bringing a rice ball close to her mouth

"Thanks"

An awkward silence surfaced the four corners of my office. Only the sound of the utensils scratching through the surface of the lunchbox can be heard as I scrape the food in it.

Fuckkkk!!! This is soooooo awkward.

Might as well think of a way to get rid of the awkwardness Y/N right?! Pabo!

"Ermm.. how's preparations going?" I asked breaking the silence

"Good.. just doing some final touches and we're ready to go. Wish us luck okay!?" she smiled

"I know you guys will do well, you don't need good lucks hahahaha"

"But still..."

"Trust me, your comeback this time will be a huge hit!" I said while I winked at her

"Okay.. Bu-"

Jennie was about to say something when my phone rang. We both looked at the caller's ID and as soon as I saw Irene's name, I immediately picked it up.

"Excuse me, I'm just gonna take this call" I said and proceeded outside my office leaving Jennie.
