I woke up to the radio playing Want You Back: Cher Lloyd. Well that was a good start to the morning. I looked at the clock and it was 6:50am. School started at 8:30. I slowly lifted Niall's arm from waist and got out of bed. I always hated leaving him. I grabbed my bag that Inhad packed and went into the bathroom. Jenna was already blow drying her hair. Julia wouldnt be up for anything half an hour yet because she was always the girl that sleeps in. "Hey Jenna. You ready for today?" She let out a sigh "Well, we can hope for the best and wait for that one class we have together." I laughed "Mhm". I grabbed my brush and started pushing through the knots. I brushed my teeth and put on some makeup.
I walked out of the bathroom with Jenna and Julia had just got up. Julia wasnt going to the same school as me and Jenna. "Goodmorn" She mumbled as she walked into the bathroom. "So what are you wearing?" I asked jenna. I had no idea, I just grabbed a whole bunch of clothing from my closet and shoved it into my bag. "I have no idea yet. What about you?" "Well I was thinking of wearing a romper, that black one, with the floral pattern?" I nodded, I rummaged through my bag and picked out, A grayish black tank top with lace on it and a pair of light blue shorts. I changed into the outfit and showed Jenna. "So?" "You look amazing!" " You look gorgeous babe" I blushed. We sat down and ate breakfast while Julia finished getting ready.
"Im ready!" Julia popped out of the bathroom. I walked into Niall's bedroom and tapped his shoulder. He would wake up. I kept trying. I looked at the clock, We need to leave now. Finally I bent down and kissed him on the lips softly. His eyes fluttered open. He pulled me so I was laying beside him and started kissing me again. I pulled away and said "We need to leave now!". He sighed and got out of bed. He got dressed and grabbed a bottle of water and we were out the door. I hopped into the passenger seat in nialls car. Julia and Jenna were in the back. We dropped off Jules first. As we got closer to school I started shaking my leg. Niall grabbed my hand and looked at me "Hun, calm down!" He laughed. I just looked out the window. I felt him squeeze my hand.
Then the car stopped and I had to get out. I leaned over and kissed Niall goodbye. He started pulling back but I leaned in more. I needed the luck before my first day. Sure I have been in Highschool before but this was the year I wanted to be someone, start over again. Then I heard "Ahem!" From the back seat. I pulled away and started blushing. "Sorry" I apologized and gave niall one more quick kiss before I left. I open the car door and stepped out. Jenna came out with me and I waved a sad goodbye to Niall.
We stepped through the doors and I felt overwhelmed. Just like last year, except I wasn't with Jenna. I was with my other friends. I don't speak to them much anymore, Kind of reason obvious for morgan, but I kinda just lost touch with the others over summer and they havent tried to get in contact since. "Ill meet you in the gym?" I told her. "Um, remember you might not be new here, but I am. I will meet you in the gym, when I find it, whether its at the be at the beginning of class or in the middle." I laughed. "Yeah yeah, ill show you around at lunch." We said our goodbyes and I walked to find my homeroom.
Room 217. Here you are. I walked inside. I knew people but I wasnt exactly friends with any of them. I looked around and decided to take a seat to a girl named Jessica. We had gone to Elementary together. We werent really friends but we talked. "Hey, how was your summer?" I asked. "Hey. Uh, pretty good. Didnt do much, same old same old." I nodded. I didnt know though. I didnt know what normal was anymore. Our homeroom teacher was Mr.Hanburg. When me and Jessica heard his name we both giggled. We looked at each other and whispered Hamburger. That was our new nickname for him. Hamburger told us about our year this year. Just the usual stuff. Then we got to pick our locker partners. I looked at Jessica but I saw that she had already picked another girl. I looked at my booklet. The teacher came to me and asked who i was with. "Uh, can I have a locker alone?" He sighed and then nodded.
