I woke up the next morning, still in louis arms, my eyes all puffy and red. I couldnt get it through my head that Jacob was here. I saw him twice yesterday. How did he find me? I sat up on the bed an put my head inbetween my knees. "You okay?" Louis said in his cute morning voice. I looked up and shrugged my shoulders. "What was that all about last night?" I took a deep breath and showed louis the texts. "You were telling the truth yesterday on the beach." "I just dont know what to do next." I added. "How about breakfast?" He asked. I laughed and hopped off the bed pulling him down the stairs with me. I decided that I was going to just forget about the kiss. Well as much as I could. It was a mistake. It wasnt meant to mean anything. Just to prove that we didnt have feelings for each other but I didn't know anymore. When we got downstairs Lottie and Julia were already at the kitchen table eating cereal. Lottie looked at me suspiciously as I ran down the stairs with louis' hand in mine. I didnt even look at her though. "What do you want lou?" I asked him. "Bacon!" I laughed "Okay," I made bacon for me and louis. We sat down across from Lottie and jules. "Sydney can I talk to you in the living room for a minute?" Lottie asked. Louis looked at me confused. I nodded and said I would be right back. As I sat down on the couch and looked at her. "Whats going on?" "Nothing" "What happened when I left you at the door?" She looked scared. "Oh god no Lottie. We havent talked about it. I just got a text from Jacob. Hes here. I knew I saw him! Im not crazy" "Oh thanks god!" She let out a sigh. I laughed. "Everything okay in here girls?" Louis asked as he poked his head in the door. "Yeah" I said smiling. Me and Lottie got up and went back into the kitchen. We finished eating and I did the dishes. Lottie said she was going out with some friends for the day and she invited me and jules. Julia said that she would go but I said Iwas going to hang at the house today. Her and jules were about leave the house when Lottie took me aside and whispered in my ear "Hey, if you need anything, I will have my phone on my all day. Just gimme a call or text" I smiled and said "Thanks".
They left and then I went upstairs to get dressed. I put on a pair of jean shorts and a tank top. I sat on the bed and was about to text Jacob back when I felt of blindfold go on my face. "Whats going on?" I asked laughing. Louis was the only one else in the house so I guessed it was going to be him but I was secretly shaking. The person grabbed my hand and slowly led me down the stairs. I felt us go through the door and then we were standing on the grass. "You can take off the blind fold now" Louis said. I took it off and now I was standing in louis front yard. "What are you up to Tomlinson?" I asked. Then I saw him dissapear to the side of the house. He came running back when the sprinklers turned on. "Ahh" I yelled. I was getting soaking wet. I started to run to the house when louis grabbed me by the waist and put me right in front of one of the sprinklers. "Louis. Let go!" I said while laughing. I struggled to get away but because I did that, I fell and took louis down on top of me. I laughed and so did louis. Then he look me in the eye and leaned down. I was scared he was going to kiss me again, because I knew that if he did I wouldnt be able to hold myself back. But he just kissed my cheek. I started blushing. "Get off me tommo" I said. He rolled off me. By now I was completely soaked so I didn't see how I could get any more wet. I started running through the sprinklers. "Wow, your special." I blushed. "Thanks louis. Your pretty special too" he laughed "I didnt mean it in a good way loser" he said. Now it was my turn. I ran and tackled him. I didnt kiss him though. I started tickling him. "Get off me!" He barley got out cause he was laughing. Finally I stopped tickling him and we just laid there beside each other, comletely soaked. Then I saw a big flash. Then another one then another one then someone yelled "Louis is that your new girlfriend. What happened to Eleanor? Louis over here!" I looked over and there was the paps. Louis looked up but didnt move. I grabbed his hand and pulled him into the house.
"Wow that was nice until they came" I said wrapping a towel around me. "Yeah, stupid pap. Sorry" "Its fine" We sat there in silence for a while. My phone rang and I jumped. I wasnt really scared to answer the phone anymore. Everyone knew I was safe so they werent like all panicy. I looked at the screen but I didnt recognize the number. "Hello?" "Hey. Its tori" "Oh Hey whatsup?" "I was wondering, if we could set up a time to hangout sometime soon" She sounded really hopeful. "Yeah, um one moment. Lou, is there anyway we could have a guest? Or maybe I could go to florida for like a day?" Louis said "Uhm, well. I dont know. We are going to sweden tomorrow. I dont know Sydney" "Uhm, Torr, nows not a really good time. Sorry" "Oh, thats fine. Text me later if you want to talk" She sounded really dissapointed now and I just wanted to hug her. We really clicked and I wanted to hangout with her too. "Yeah ill text you later. Sorry again. Bye" "Bye" She said and I hung up. "Who was that?" Louis asked me. "Well, you know that girl that was in line with us at the signing, yeah her. We are kinda friends now" He looked at me. "Okay. You hungry?" "Yeah im really hungry" "I'll make you, homemade pizza. The girls should be home in a couple hours too." He looked in the cupboard and then the fridge. "You mind running to the store and picking up some cheese?" I laughed "Yeah, anything for my lou lou" He poked my side making me laugh and I went out the door. When I walked out the door, most of the people were gone but there were still a couple. "Hey, may I please ask you a question?" One said. "Thanks for being polite and asking but im sorry, I really have to go" "Okay, it will only take a minute" "Are you and Louis together?" "Whats your name?" "Aren't you Niall's princess?" I just pushed through the people and started towards the store.
I entered the store, it was a pretty small store. I was going through the aisles and I finally found the cheese. I grabbed it and headed to the front to pay. I stopped in my tracks. I stopped at the magazine rack. There was a magazine with me on the front of it. It said "Sydney, Ran away from home? Or Kidnapped?" "Really, stupid gossip" I said under my breath. Then I saw another one with a picture of me and Louis. It was a pic of us, where me and louis were laying on the grass side by side looking at the cloud. I had to say we did look like a couple and a cute one at that. The header said. "Louis has a new girl? What happened to Eleanor? Cheating?"Again I muttered a curse under my breath. The picture of me with louis, you couldnt really tell it was me so that was a up. "Whats with the potty mouth?" said a familar comforting voice. I turned around to see the one and only Jacob standing in front of me. My knees just dropped. I was about to fall to the ground when Jacob put his arms out and caught me. "Are you okay Sydney?" I stood back up and touched his face. "Its really you." I said and found myself smiling. "Of corse its me silly. You miss me?" "More than you can imagine" I hugged him and didnt let go. "But, how did you find me?" "How about you buy that cheese and I will walk you to wherever you are staying. We can talk about it then" I nodded and paid for the cheese. We started to walk and then we started talking. "So, how did you find me?" "Well, did you not know that there is a picture of you and the boys going around? Like a clear shot of your face?" "What!" I got scared. What was going to happen to me now? "Yeah, and when I saw you with the boys I called Niall. He said you were with Louis. So I came here." Why would Niall tell him? "But why Jacob? Im not leaving?" then we made it to louis house. We stopped at the driveway to talk. "Why not sydney? Why wont you come home?" "Because I love this place. I need time away from all of you" "Oh yeah? Then why did you fall when you see me? You missed me. you missed your home!" "Yeah I do miss you and I miss home but things are so messed up and crazy. I needed time alone away from all that!" "Is this about Whitney?" "Dont even mention her and yeah part of it." "I said I was sorry about that" "Yeah well sorry doesnt always cut it jake" "But sydney" He said but I just walked up the driveway and walked into the house.
"Why have you been? I was just about to send out a search party? " He laughed but stopped and asked "Hey wait whats wrong?" I guess I was emotional and crying. I couldnt feel anything right now. "I saw jake again, this time I talked to him and felt him. He was real." "Whys that a bad thing? And you felt him?" I slapped louis' arms and said "Not like that, we hugged" "Whys it a bad thing?" I didnt want to say it, I didn't want to admit but I did "I am home sick louis" I burst out crying now. Louis held me on the couch and stroked my hair. "Its okay" Louis cooed and soothed me. After I finished crying he made me a pizza and then we sat there together. Still cuddling, louis still holding me tight. I looked at him and said "Thank you so much louis" "For what?" "For always being here for me. No matter what happens, your always here" He didnt answer me instead he just looked at me and kissed me again. Not on the cheek, on the lips. Full force. Not a little peck like last time. Full on. Instead of pulling away like a good girlfriend, I put my hand on the back of his neck and pulled him closer. We were sitting on the couch kissing, when the door flung open. "Hey were home and Sydney theres a boy out there looking for y-" Lottie stopped when she saw that we were close. I think she knew what just happened. "Hey, jules lets hurry and go upstairs, there something I have to tell you" She pulled julia upstairs and winked at me. The doorbell went off. "Uhm, I will go get that." I said shyly. I got off louis' lap and opened the door.
It was Jacob. "What jake?" "Can we just talk about what happened?" "No" "Please" "Just go home, please jake" "not until we talk" I shut the door and went to sit in the kitchen. I couldnt face louis right now. I didnt know what to say. I needed someone right now but there was no one I could go to at the moment. The doorbell kept ringing. "You want me to get that?" Louis yelled from the living room. "No, its okay, ill go get it" It rang a couple of times, then I knew that he wasnt going to stop until I answered him. I opened the door expecting him to start blabbing but instead there was no talking. I didnt really get a good look at him before he grabbed my head and pulled me in for a kiss. It was cute and gross at the same time because he was my bestfriend at one point and I didn't want to mess that up even though it was pretty messed up already. When he pulled back I could see that he was crying. "Im sorry" was all he got out before I shut the door and sat down on the ground. As if it was timed, my phone rang. I picked it up and it was Niall. "Hey babe"
My life just got so much more complicated.
