I felt like I was in a daydream. I was all dreamy and loosy goosy. I felt all numb inside and out. All I saw were my boys. Harry, his curls as wild as ever. Liam, his plaid shirt. Zayn, his perfect hair. Louis, all those stripes, oh LouisAnd then there was Niall. Shining more than all of them. His blonde hair, beautiful teeth and smile. They were all I saw. Then I heard a sob that made me want to cry just hearing it. I started to come back. I could feel it. I didnt know where I was. I could barly see. I tilted my head to the left to see Jenna and Julia holding each other. Crying. It was Julia that let out that horrible sob. "Hey, hey guys look!" I heard. I knew it was Jacob. They all rushed up to where i was laying. "Where am I?" I got out as a whisper. My voice was all raspy and my throat felt like someone was ripping it out with there bare hands. I tried to sit up but I felt all dizzy. "Hey, its okay, just lay down. You are back at the cabin." Jenna said trying to be calmly. I couldnt keep myself awake any longer. That was it, I passed out.
Next time I woke up, I felt someone beside me. I turned over and there was Julia. "Hey jules" I barely got out. She looked up at me. Her eyes were all red and puffy. "Hey, how are you feeling?" "Im alright, ive had better days" I tried to be funny. "Sydney, this isnt the time for jokes." She said even though she giggled. She looked down. She looked guilty of something, I knew that look! "Julia, what did you do?" "Well, I texted Niall and told him what happened." "You what!" I sat straight up. "Hes coming Sydney." "But, they are at home. This is there time at home Julia! You shouldnt have bothered him, he deserves some time with his family!" "Sydney, what did you expect me to do! You almost drowned. Your boyfriend deserved to know! I-i-i didnt know if you were going to wake up Sydney" Her voice cracked at the end. I just hugged her. "Im going to go for a shower, if you need me, im down the hall." Julia said. She quietly walked out the door. As soon as she left I called Niall.
N:Sydney! Are you alright?
S: Niall, im fine. Have you gotten on the plane yet?
N: Im boarding right now.
S: Dont get on the plane Niall. Im okay. We can talk next time your free. You need to spend time with your family. No matter how much I miss you, they miss you twice as much nialler. They deserve time with there little boy.
N: But sy-
S: No Niall! Im not asking, I'm telling you
N: Sydney, please. I dont know what I would do if I lost you. I need you Sydney. You cant stop me from seeing you.
S: But Niall its different. Im not at home. Im at a friends cabin. What if they notice you?
N: I dont care Sydney. You are the love of my life. I think I proved it with the ring. You will be Mrs.Horan someday. I promise you Sydney.
S: I love you Niall
N: I love you too Sydney
I hung up the phone and looked at the clock. 11:30pm. I walked to the window and saw the humongous firepit. I got out of bed an went outside. Everyone was in the loft watching tv. I snuck past them and went outside. I grabbed a whole wack of firewood and started a fire. I wrote a note that said - Hey guys, come outside, but not without Marshmallows <3 Lakeside, (: - There were logs all round the campfire. I knocked on the door and went back to the firepit. A couple of minutes later they all came stumbling out the door. They all had smiles on there faces as they saw me around the campfire.
After a while it got cold and I started to shiver. Jacob went inside and came back out with a blanket. I was sitting inbetween Ryan and Jacob. He passed me the blanket and I pulled it over my shoulders. Ryan tugged it and pulled some over him too. Soon after Jacob started shivering. Ryan looked at him and laughed, "Sorry dude, theres no more blankets." "Ha ha, your so funny, let me freeze than." I looked at Jacob and smiled. "Come here Jake" he leaned over to me and I put my arm around his shoulder. "Thats better" He said, I smiled. Ryan looked jealous now. It was kind of funny. After about twenty marshmallows and ten campfire songs, the fire was dying down and I got so tired. I think I fell asleep on Jakes shoulders.
I woke up the next morning giddy. Niall was going to be here today. I was thinking to myself. What if they do know who they are? I will have three more people that have to keep my secret. I quickly got out of bed and ran downstairs. I poured myself a bowl of cereal and went to watch some morning TV. Jacob and Chase were sitting on the couch. I sat in the chair. I started to eat my cereal when I suddenly blurted out "Hey, do you guys know who One Direction is?" They looked at me like I was stupid. "Who?" They both said. I was satisfied. "Okay" I went back to munching on my cereal.
After I finished my cereal, I went upstairs to my room to pick out my outfit for today. I tried on a bunch of clothing but nothing was good enough. I needed to look amazing for Niall. Finally I decided on a short floral printed dress and a pair of flipflops. Last night before I went to bed I got Jenna to paint my nails. So now my nails matched my dress. "Well, hey that dress looks amazing on you" I turned around to find Ryan standing there. I smiled "Thanks! Niall should be here soon." He nodded. He looked sad.
Ive made some close relationships with the boys, Ryan- We were close, like brother and sister. Well, not as close and me and Liam with that relationship. Chase- We were friends, not very close but we still talked and had fun. Jacob - Now thats a whole different story. We were the closest out of anybody here. Sure I just met him but we were so close. It was nice.
"So, what are we going to be doing today?" I asked Ryan."Theres a small mini golf place down the road and I thought that we could all go there after. Than out for dinner at the diner" "Sounds good!" "Hey, how are you doing? Feeling better?" He sat close to me on the edge of the bed now. "Im better. Still a little woosy once and a while but im better thanks for asking." He looked at me with his big brown eyes. They were pretty. But nothing compared to Nialls eyes. He slowly put his hand on my chin. I was really getting nervous but I couldnt break eye contact. You know that feeling, when someone is trying to kiss you, even if you dont want to, you cant break eye contact. Yeah well that is how i was now. He leaned in and lightly peck me on the lips. It was soft and quick. Not to long. After we broke apart he looked into my eyes and smiled. He got off the bed and said "Ill see you in the loft" With that he left me sitting on my bed with my mouth wide open.
Thats the way Niall found me two hours later. I was still sitting on my bed in the same postion. "Hey love." He came into the room. I tried to get up but I couldn't make myself move. "Is everything alright?" He asked as he sat next to me on the bed. He leaned in. This was the first time in my life I didn't want Niall Horan to kiss me. Trust me I wanted to kiss him. I missed him like hell but I would feel like I cheated on him. I just got kissed by Ryan and now my boyfriend was going to kiss me. He finally met my lips and there were sparks. As always. I couldnt help but kiss him back. "Well thats a nice welcome" I smiled. "Im going to go use the toilet ill be right back. Dont leave."He said with a wink. When he went inside the bathroom I looked down at my ring, I was thinking of all the times I have lied to Niall.
A couple of times with harry, and now Ryan. Wow, what kind of girlfriend am I? He deserves someone much better than me.
A single tear dripped down from my eye.
