Chapter 8: ''Erwin?''

Eren walks into the house, one thing was pretty clear: someone here was a clean-freak. Everything was clean, no dust, no mess.. Nothing. The mirrors and the windows were shining and everything was perfectly organised. It was a huge house, there are multiple rooms with a lot of space. Farlan chuckles quietly by seeing Eren's surprised face, seeing him looking around. ''Beautiful hm? These are Levi's standards, so get used to it. Don't make a mess otherwise you'll end up in the trashcan''. Eren's eyes widen and he gulps by hearing his words. He turns around and looks at the young male. ''I.. I will.. where-.. Where's Levi if I may ask..?'' Farlan's eyes sadden a little by the question and signs the brunet to follow him. ''He had one of his mood-drops again.. so we forced him to sleep. He can wake up any moment.. don't let his words hurt you, he isn't used to new people.. yet''. 

They walk into a smaller room, the curtains are closed and a few candles are lit on a small table nearby a bed. He notices 2 figures in a couch on the other side of the room, the other one lays in bed, Levi probably. A high-pitched voice makes him jump a little in the air and 2 arms wrap tightly against his waist. ''Omg... OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG YOUR'RE HERE!! My angel! My titan baby! Finally! Levi's rescuer! WOOOOO! O my you're tall! My name is Hanji.. I was the one talking to you when.. Levi wasn't able to''. ''Or.. when you blocked him away from the laptop..'', Farlan mumbles quietly, audible for Eren only. Eren chuckles quietly and looks at the figure on the bed. ''Is that.. is that Levi?''. Hanji nods and the brunet walks slowly closer towards until 2 other pair of arms wrap around him. A smaller girl with 2 red haired ponytails look at him with green eyes, amusement in her eyes. ''Are you Eren? Hi! I'm Isabel! Nice to meet you.. You're finally here! Do you mind holding Levi for a second? He will wake up any minute''. 'Holding Levi? What if he.. Get's mad.. or.. Worse. Farlan warned me not to touch him... I'm too young to die!  I-' A hand on his shoulder interrupts his thoughts and he looks up. He meets the warm, reassuring eyes of Farlan and relaxes a little. '' Its okay Eren, We're here, remember? Hold him, it'll help him''. Isabel walks closer with the smaller person in her arms, laying him in his arms. Eren looks at him, the beautiful black hair, the paler face.. 'He looks so relaxed... but that'll change soon as he wakes up..' He walks to the couch and carefully sits down, laying Levi against his chest. 'He is so damn beautif- Did I just curse? Oh well.. he's like an angel.. I'm going to protect you, Levi.. I'll make you happy.. Make you smile.. I promise'.. Suddenly, a small mumble escapes Levi's mouth. ''Erwin...'' Gasps follow and Eren's eyes widen. ''He.. Erwin?'' Hanji walks closer and a few tears escape her eyes. ''That's his dead.. boyfriend..'' Eren closes his eyes and faces away from everyone. ''His dead boyfriend hm... why am I hear then.. He isn't over him.. that's so visible! Why... Why dammit! Did I come here for nothing? He still loves him.. He will never love me..'' He wipes some tears away but freezes when he feels Levi curling up against his chest. ''You don't understand, Eren.. He hasn't felt safe for months.. Constantly feeling depressed, barely sleeping. Constantly checking his surroundings.. and now.. We've never seen him this relaxed.. please stay.. We need you.. he needs you..'' He looks at Levi again and nods, calming slightly down. ''I will..'' He keeps staring at Levi's face until his eyes met a silver/light grey/light blue pair of eyes.

''He's awake''.
