I Should've Kissed You

A few weeks passed since I met Dani and the One Direction concert. Danielle and I has gotten extremely close those passed weeks. We went shopping together when I was off from work and sometimes she'd come to my work place just to hang out. Guests were always welcome since not much people stay in the secretary office/waiting room. Business was usually taken care of in the photo room or in the other compartments and I would just sit all alone bored out of my mind, unless I go into the photo room to help.

Not only has my relationship with Dani has gotten better, but Louis and I has also gotten closer. He hasn't asked me to be his girl friend yet, but we act like we were an actual couple. I was a little afraid at our relationship because I felt like I was actually falling for him. We made no commitment and I'm afraid I'm only going to get my heart broken. I knew him for a month now and in another month, he'll be leaving with the rest of the boy back to London leaving me behind.

I was currently at work standing near the window looking out at the view of all the people and cars passing by. I sighed as I thought about Louis and our relationship. Maybe I should break it off with him, or maybe I should tell him how I feel. I guess it's better to take a chance than wonder 'what if' for the rest of my life. Even if Louis turns me down, he'd be leaving in a month any way. I doubt that after he left, we'd meet each other again. Especially after an awkward 'break up' I guess you could call it.

Should I tell Louis or should I break it off? Could I handle rejection? I was just so confused. But I know in order to have a proper closure, I'll need to tell Louis and get a straight answer. The only issue know is when will I tell him. I was getting nervous just thinking about it. The phone started to ring bringing back to reality. I walked over sluggishly answering the phone.

"Top One Photoshoot, this is Nikki, how may I help you?" I spoke casually into the phone reciever.

"NIK!" A female voice rang on the other side of the phone.

"Dani? What's up?!" I chimmed.

"Come over for lunch tomorrow at Harry and Louis' hotel room." She invited me.

"Sure, I'll come over right after work. I finish at 12pm." I confirmed my invitation.

"What time do you start anyway?" Dani asked curiously.

"4am." I groaned.

"Dang babe, I hope you'll be able to stay awake tomorrow." I heard her chuckle.

"If I'm with all the boys, I'll be too afraid to fall asleep. Who knows what will happen to me." I shivered just thinking about it. I heard Dani laugh on the other end.

"I agree with you there. Well, get enough sleep tonight and I'll see you tomorrow babe. Good night." Dani said.

"Good night Dani, see you tomorrow!" I replied back. And with that, we hung up.

I looked at the time and it was finally 9pm. I could go home and get some well-deserved, and much needed sleep. I gathered my things and began to walk home. The town was still full of people. The streets didn't seem to clear out till 10pm, so I was never scared to walk home alone. Upon getting home, I dumped all my belongings onto the kitchen counter and went straight into the bathroom to get ready for bed. Afterwards, I hopped into bed and checked my phone to see if I missed anything. I had no voice mails or any missed calls, but I did have several texts from a few minutes ago.

Dani: "Can't wait to see you tomorrow! G'night babe :) xxxxxxxxx" I laughed at how many 'x's she used.

Liam: "Party tomorrow! WOOHOO! Can't wait to chill out! x"

Zayn: "Dani told us you can come! Don't work too hard. See you tomorrow babe! xx"

Harry: "Master Chef will need an assistant. You will learn the art of making the best fried chicken in the world! See you tomorrow for lunch grasshopper. x" I couldn't help but laugh. That idiot.
