Chapter 2 - There's Gerard..and there's Ray.....

It takes you some times actually to reach home, from the moment you hung up the phone. Finally, you are in front of the door, inserting the key then unlock the door. "Fro Fro, I'm home!" You proceed straight to the kitchen counter to put down the cheesecake. Stretching a bit because you've been carrying quite some books in your hand, a laptop and some other stuff in your backpack, and of course, Ray's cheesecake in the other hand. Plus all the long walk back home. The tv's on but Ray is nowhere in sight. 'Probably in his room'. So you go to his room, to call him for the cheesecake. The door's slightly open and to your surprise, you see Gerard standing there, staring on the floor in front of him. You are about to ask what he's doing here while opening the door wide, but suddenly hit something. The door that you opened was obstructed by a foot, turns out the foot belongs to Ray, lying down, face facing the floor, and lots of blood on the back of his head. There are scattered pieces of ceramic vase everywhere as well.

You are about to let out a scream, but a hand covers your mouth and you are pushed against the wall hard. The impact from colliding with the wall on your back almost knock your breath out. Your eyes widen as you see Gerard's face, inches from yours. His grip on your arm is tightened as he speaks. "Don't make things worse for me." The hand on your mouth slowly makes it way back as you stare at him. Then you look at Ray's almost lifeless body, then at him again. "Gerard what did you do!" You slightly whisper-yelling. Gerard just put his hands in his jet black hair, messing it a bit. "I-I can't stand living without you. I need you back in my life. B-but Ray is getting in the way. I can't let him have you." "Gerard what the heck! He's just here to keep me accompany!!" By this time, your voice slightly raised.

Gerard just look at you, with an expression you can't tell. Something is weird about him. "Look, we need to get him to the hospital. He's losing a lot of blood!"You are on the verge of crying already. But suddenly, your arms are harshly grabbed by Gerard again except this time, you are forced to lean against a table. "No! The people in the hospital would know about this! Then I might end up being in jail. Then I'll be left alone without you again. Then Ray will have you forever!!" What is he talking about?! He isn't making any sense!! "That's what you're concerned about now?! Ray's dying over there!!" Tears are falling down your cheeks as you rush to Ray's side, checking up on him. And that's when you feel something hit the back of your head before everything goes black.
