I Am Dangerous

I'm standing face to face with a criminal. He doesn't seem like one. He looks like a regular cool guy. I didn't think I would see him again. I want to get to know this guy.  I stand in front of him speechless.

"Are you ok Shawty ?", he asked me. "Me ? Oh yeah, I'm fine.", I say nervously laughing. "You sure ? You look like you saw a ghost.", he says. "No, I just wasn't expecting to see you again.", I tell him. "Is that a bad thing ?", he asked smirking. "No ! It's a great thing.", I say. "So, what are you doing ?"

"Waiting for someone.", he says taking a puff of his cigarette. "Who you waiting for ?", I ask him. "Well, aren't you full of question.", he chuckled. "He goes to your school I think.", he says. "Ah you must mean Jaden.", I tell him. "How did you know ?", he asked me. "He's my best friend. And he told me about his life, and said to stay away from you.", I say.

"Oh, he's right.", Jason tells me. "What really ? Are you like bad or something ?", I say chuckling and trying to play it cool. "Yeah, pretty much.", Jason says. "You don't seem ba–", he cuts me off. "Yeah, I get that a lot from new people. Then, they get to know me and can't handle my life style.", he tells me. "I bet I could handle it.", I told him. "Don't try to, babygirl.", he says with a sigh. "What if I want to ?", I say. "Then you're out of your mind. I said what I said."

He was now looking down at me. I don't know if he's mad or trying to scare me but I'm not budging. A few seconds of just standing there Jaden and Maya pops up. "Hey Jason I- woah !", I heard Jaden say. "Y/n, where have you been ?", Maya says. "I was just talking.", I tell her. "Jaden you didn't tell them about us have you ?", Jason asked him in a serious tone.

"No. I did research.", I say, helping Jaden out. "Yeah, but what were you guys talking about ?", Jaden asked. "Oh we were just talki–", I say but Jason cuts me off. "Nothing. We were talking about nothing. Jaden we have to go.", Jason says. "Your taking my Jaden ?", Maya said.

"My Jaden ?", Jaden says with a smirk. "I mean, do you have to take Jaden with you ?", asked Maya blushing. "Yes, it's important.", Jason says. "Bye Jaden. See you again Jason ?", I say. "No. I told you how I am. I am dangerous.", Jason says. "Y/n, I advise you to just let it go.", Jaden whispers to me. "What ever. I'm out.", I say.

I walked off and headed back to where I parked my car. Maya followed. I don't care what Jason says. I want to know his true colors and I think there's more to him then just being bad. Me and Maya get in the car. I slowly start following Jaden and Jason. I see them walk to an ally. I park the car and me and Maya get out and follow. They don't see us at all. They knock on a door. It was a weird knock. It was more like a beat. A guy with really short blond hair opened the door. He looked really happy to see them. They went inside. I noticed they didn't lock the door back.

"Y/n, I don't think this is a good idea.", Maya says. "Either you're with me or you're not, Maya.", I say not really wanting to deal with her bullshit. "But, what if we get caught ?", she asks. "If we do, they won't do anything. We're Jaden's friends.", I say. "Good Point.", Maya says. "Great, now let's go."

We crept up to the door. We slowly opened the door and walked in. I had questions that needed to be answered. I don't care how long it takes. I just hope I don't see something I don't want to see.
