Ben eventually got the call for the mission, he packed his things and went to the location they told him on the phone call. Ben drove out to a small, roadside parking lot. It was mostly abandoned except for three other cars. Ben parked in the parking lot and saw three people talking to each other; they all seemed to be packed up for something, so Ben assumed that they were going on the mission. He cautiously walked over to them.

"Ah, you must be Dr. Rodney, are you ready for the mission then?" a man asked.

There were three people there, the man who had asked him a question who was somewhat older with brownish, graying hair and a small beard. The remaining hairs on his head were combed to the side, and he seemed a bit skinny. Another one was a shorter woman with glasses and short, dark hair that came down to her shoulders; she was also holding a large journal. The third one was a large, African-American man with a stubble and a hat similar to Ben's.

"Uh, I'm as ready as one can be to go to back to an island full of dinosaurs," Ben says somewhat sarcastically.

The older man chuckled.

"Well, I'm doctor Bill Buckler, the leader of the expedition; this is Nina, she is our photographer and documenter of the expedition; and last but not least we have Mr. Edward Jones, he keeps track of all of the creatures we capture, and still need to capture, during the journey," Bill says.

Ben nods to them.

"The airport is just over this hill, so let's go."

Ben follows the three of them to an old airfield with a small plane that Ben assumed that they were taking. Ben was surprised that there was an airport (somewhat) here. The plane looked kinda old, and Ben was afraid that it wasn't going to fly. They walked onto the plane and shook hands with the pilot. Ben took a seat and put his bags up into the compartment above him.

The other three randomly picked their seats. Everyone buckled up and the plane took off. Ben held on as the plane took off, because it was very shaky. The plane eventually got up into the air, so there was much less turbulence. Edward reached over and tapped Ben on the shoulder from across the aisle to get his attention.

"Hey, could you go over the names of these things with me, I'm not really a dino expert," he says while looking over the list of all the known creatures on the island.

Ben got out of his seat and moved over to sit next to Edward. Ben quickly glanced through the list; most of the creatures he remembered, but there were a few that he didn't end up seeing on the first trip, such as the dilophosaurus.

"Ok, so which ones do you need help with?" Ben asked.

"Well, the tuso... tusoteo?" Edward tries to say.

"Tusoteuthis, it's a giant squid; Spidermonkey's is quite a bit different from the real deal, much more aggressive," Ben explains.

Edward flips through the list again until he stops on the velociraptor.

"I've heard a story from the boss about this one."

"Madame Pom?"

"Yes, she said that Joe, your friend, said there were eight raptors originally, one was killed, because it was too aggressive, but it's brother became very aggressive as well after that; so aggressive that the rest of the pack abandoned it," Mr. Jones says.

Ben realised that the brother must have been Clawless.

"Yeah, I happened to meet the brother on my first visit to the island; Joe called him Clawless as a joke," Ben says.

"How do you know it was the brother?" Edward asks.

"Because, he had no pack."

Ben helped Edward with a few more of the creatures, then went back to his seat. Ben started to doze off, and then he fell asleep. He dreamed of being back on the island. He was being chased by Grumpy, but he found an abandoned laboratory to hide in. Dinosaur embryos were in glass tanks in the lab. One tank was empty, so Ben looked closer and saw a series of numbers scratched onto the side of it: 4 15 7 26 9 12 12 1. Ben was then quickly jolted awake by the plane making a rough landing.

"We've landed in California Dr. Rodney," Bill says, "We'll meet up with the rest of the team and head to the island."

They wave goodbye to the pilot and head to the ocean. Nina takes a couple pictures while they're on the way to the shipyard. They eventually get to the shipyard and Ben is surprised by the sheer amount of of people and cargo was being brought on the mission. There was one very large aircraft carrier with tons of cages and equipment on it to capture and contain the dinosaurs.

"Woah, I guess you guys are prepared," Ben says with a surprised look on his face.

"Yep, you don't think we'd go to an island full of dinosaurs underprepared did you?" Bill said to Ben.

Ben looked at some of the cage that will be used to capture the dinosaurs, they seemed very sturdy; it would be difficult for a dinosaur, even Grumpy, to break out of them. Ben looked at some of the weapons that would be used. A man with a scar across his eye was standing around some of the weapons. He seemed to be examining a very large tranq dart.

"Think that can knock out a dinosaur?" Ben questions.

"Well, they're strong enough to knock out a full grown African elephant in a second, so I assume so," the man replies.

The man was very large and muscular with a fully-grow, black, beard. He wore an explorer's hat and had a large scar across his left eye.

"I've hunted a whole variety of dangerous animals, so dinosaurs will be... interesting to deal with," the man mutters.

The man then loads the tranq darts into the gun and walks onto the boat. Ben soon follows him onto the boat. Bill showed Ben to his living quarters. Ben unpacked some of his things and thought about what he would do if things went bad. After thinking, Ben decided to take a nap to rest up.

Meanwhile

The scar faced man sat in his quarters; he took a peak out of the door to see if anyone was nearby... no one. He went on his laptop and started messaging someone.

Victor: He's going on the mission

Spidermonkey: Good, I'll get my revenge on two of my enemies at once now, Pom and Rodney.

Victor: They packed coats unfortunately, because of the rumors on the news.

Spidermonkey: It won't matter in the long run, some of my 'Subject C' experiments have unfortunately escaped the lab. They are very aggressive, intelligent, and hungry for death; they've even started trying to kill at least one of each species on the island.
