Clawless sniffed the air, he smelled the faint scent of T. Rex. His brown feathers fluttered around in the wind. He tapped his toe claw a couple of times into the snow. He had been searching the entire island for Spidermonkey ever since he had failed to kill the two other humans. His quest had started to become quite difficult. With the appearance of the cold powder, the large mammals, and the crested monsters, Clawless was having trouble tracking Spidermonkey down.

Clawless quickly sped around, kicking up snow behind him. He was to be stealthy, yet the quietness of the air didn't help much. Most of his main prey had all died from the cold. Clawless was kept warm by his feathers, but he was still quite cold. Clawless almost ran into a large boulder, but it wasn't a boulder, it was a doedicurus!

Clawless knew it was one of the strange, large, mammals that started appearing one day. The giant armadillo let out a warning grunt towards Clawless before it swung its giant, spiked, tail towards the raptor. The velociraptor was quick though, and he dodged the spiked club of death by just a feather. Clawless knew that he would not win against the beast, so he retreated. The doedicurus then went back to grazing on the forest plants.

Clawless got far enough away from it so that it would cause him any more problems. He then started to feel vibrations on the ground. A roar came from off in the distance, but it was getting closer. Clawless looked around quickly for a place to hide. He speedily ran over and hid in a nearby bush. Clawless peaked out from the hiding spot to see a tyrannosaurus rex passing by. It suddenly stopped a couple feet away from the bush that Clawless was hiding in. The large carnivore lifted it's head up into the air to sniff the air. Some bits of snow still sprinkled down through the trees.

All of a sudden, a blood curdling roar was let out and a creature tried to attack the rex. It was one of the crested monsters. It bit furiously at the T. Rex's leg. The T. Rex quickly flipped around and grabbed the beast's neck in its bone crushing jaws. The crested devil was then pinned to the ground by the rex. It was killed almost immediately by the T. Rex. A couple other of the creatures came out of the undergrowth. The tyrannosaurus faced the strange dinos and let out a roar to try and scare them.

Three of them started to back down, but the largest one roared back. The two dinos then clashed. The big one ran right past the T. Rex's maw and sunk its jaws into the tyrannosaurus' throat. The large carnivore let out a whimper as the crested one sunk it's jaws deeper into the throat. The crested monster was close enough so that the T.Rex could reach it with its tiny arms. The rex scratched the beast with of of it's claws; this caused the alpha to let go.

A long scratch was left across its upper jaw. The T. Rex screeched in pain as it eventually collapsed and died from its wounds. The monsters then started to feast upon the dead king of the T. Rex kingdom. Clawless quickly snuck away as the ferocious pack feasted. Clawless took one last glance at the alpha, the scratch across its upper jaw, its larger size, and the darker color around its eyes distinguished it from the other three pack members.

Clawless heard a strange, alien, noise way off in the distance. The noise was not alien to him though. The flying machine that the two humans escaped in had come back. Clawless only had one human in mind to kill though, Dr. Spidermonkey. Clawless ignored the noise and went back to his quest. Though if he saw any other humans in his path, he would kill them.
