(Art up top belongs to me) Hey guys it's your local depressed piece of shit here, shoving another update into your face. I have time to write because I have a long weekend so yeah.

I stand up and stretch, my back hurts from leaning down to pet the numerous cats. I'm pretty hungry, we've been here a while now.

"Uh, hey guys, wanna get food? I'm famished."

"Yeah!" Tom says, "me too."

"I could eat." States Matt.

But Edd is completely absorbed into the group of cats walking towards us. He doesn't even seem to realize that were standing here anymore.

"Uh," Tord frowns, "should we get him?"

"Nah," says Tom, "he seems pretty happy."

I agree with Tom, and the three of us go back to the counter to order food. Outside, it's still sunny and warm, however the clouds are sprinkling rain onto the dark pavement. If there's anything I love, it's the smell of fresh, cold rain on the warm summer pavement. The flowers in the window and across the street seem much more vibrant, and people continue to walk and bike down the street. It's so beautiful. It brings back memories for me. The smell of rain, roses, and croissants from the cafe across the street. I am at peace, I feel happy. There's nothing I want more than what I have, my friends and I together, in such a beautiful world. I love it.

"Hey (y/n)? What do you want to eat?"

Matt interrupts my train of thought, but that's okay.

"I'll just have a coffee and a sandwich please, I don't care what kind."

"Okay."

Lemon boy and me, started to get along together

The four of them are so thoughtful.

I helped him plant his seeds, and we mowed the lawn, in bad weather

I'm spacing out, i don't know why exactly.

It's actually pretty easy, being nice, to a bitter boy like him, so I've got myself, a citrus friend

I keep remembering back to a song I was listening to this morning. Lemon boy, by Cavetown. For some reason it makes me feel... calm.

The rain outside starts to get heavier, and I hear small waves of thunder rolling through the gray, cloudy sky. In a way, the full gray is beautiful in its simplicity. If I listen I can hear dogs barking softly, the sounds of music playing quietly in a nearby apartment, and smell the Chinese takeout from a restaurant down the street. Once we are finished eating, we decide it's time to go. The plan was to go to the pond nearby and hang out for a while, but it seems like the rain might prevent that. That's okay. I'm kind of tired, I'd like to go home and we can all just watch a movie and nap.

"Hey, guys, since it's raining do you want to go home and watch a movie?"

"Yeah, that's sounds like a good way to end the day." Replies Tom.

The others nod in agreement and as we finish up, I look outside at the rain once more. Peaceful. Then we all get in the car, and head home to end a wonderful day.

I'm sorry this is kind of short I'm literally having a breakdown rn so I did this to distract myself so I dont... do anything stupid. But nonetheless I hope you enjoy, sorry it's been forever, and don't worry too much about me, I'll be okay ♡
