It has been a year since.Looking at his balcony, Araki appreciates the sunset of a foreign realm in a foreign land. Switzerland has been so kind to him, especially when underworldly negotiations were done.
He kept his human form, of course, and he kept living with humans for over a year. He learned the use of phones and other human technologies, especially wiretaps and electricity.
He rented a nice apartment that overlooks the city. Inside, he put some pots of plants, a lump of cots as bed, and some empty picture frames he thought he could fill with their pictures.
But unfortunately, he never got a picture of them together.
And now he's thinking, he'll never be able to.
The frames are filled with stolen pictures of him, though.
He's been waiting for the human that he hurt for the sake of his job.
He's been waiting for that police officer who helped him complete that job.
It hurts to remember how he intentionally gave Hansel Juno a love potion only to force him to help. It was a dick move, but he was so out of options and his country was so out of life.
Everyday that they're together, he felt the guilt---especially when he smiles at him. In the end, the guilt was replaced by adoration and thoughts of never giving him the antidote just to keep him by his side.
They would have ran away here.
They would have been living together peacefully.
They would have been happy.
But that priest just had to give him the antidote and wake him up from his delusions.
He wanted Hansel Juno for himself.
But he also realized that he's been making the man suffer. He decided to step back and watch him from a far.
He's spying on him
He's watching his every move.
He loves that man.
And he will do anything to make him safe.
