The funny thing about me is that I always think about Araki despite hating him to the core. He left so much memories, he left so much emotions I can still feel, and he left me with immense amount of hatred.

Everytime he pops into my mind, I ask myself why I can't remove him from my memories. Usually, people immediately move-on from their exes. I should too, just that he's not exactly my ex, because he's a lying fuck-sucker fucking mctraitor. He probably ran around the town with a banner that says "I enchanted a stupid gullible human, y'all."

His younger brother did try to explain his side, but they're families! Of course they'd be on each other's side.

I should stop thinking about him. He's dead to me. He's very much dead to me. Every inch of his body, all of it, every ounce of it, and every cell in it, is so dead to me.

Not.

I should make my revenge faster so that I could get rid of him faster. And I just have the most perfect plan up my sleeve. Hey, I'm not called a genius for nothing.

I smiled. I smiled in front of the cottage ceiling as I lie my head on a lump of cot. I woke up an hour ago and my body clock says it's already day. The night time, however, hasn't gone yet.

Instead of getting up, I try not to be suspicious by pretending that I, as well, am asleep. It'd be weird if I wake up in the middle of their sleeping time. Plus, I don't want to wake up little Andrin.

The night in Ilalim is two times longer than their day, which is about 8 human hours. Their night time is more than 16 hours, which explains why their years are longer. They use a 13-month calendar based on the Ibaloy tribe of the northern Islands. This is such a unique country, because as I've observed, they control the essence of day time and night time. Jadaki added that it can change in every administration or reign, whatever their current researchers decide.

"Are you still awake?" Jadaki said all of a sudden, leaning on the door. Speaking of the devil.

"No. You woke me up." I defended.

"You usually sleep with your eyes open as you grin on the ceiling?" He added with crossed arms and smug look. Damn brat.

"I'm adjusting. And why are you awake? Did my staring and grinning wake you up?" I sassed. I know I have to pretend kind, but can't I just have a little slip up?

"Yeah. Or maybe the fact that I know we're a little bit the same. I know you came from the human world. I am, too."
That made me shot my upper body up the bed. I faced him with a gasp. "What do you mean you're from the human world? And what do you mean I was there?"

"Yeah. You said so yourself. You had a spying mission there. And I came up there as well to help my brother find our sun."

"Oh. So what does that have to do with us being awake?" I paused my stupid mind for a while. "That's right! The sleeping cycle."

"The sleeping cycle."

We uttered at the same time. Being in another realm with a very different time zone would naturally alter a being's sleeping cycle. And if his sleeping cycle hasn't been fixed, it means he just came from human realm, for about, maximum 6 months.

He laughed to himself, while I smile at the coincidence. We had a bonding moment there, which makes me think: he's an okay guy.

"So Jadaki. How was your time in the human world?" I asked. That gave him the idea to walk inside my borrowed room and sit on my bed. I adjusted my position to fully seated position.
