Here to Stay.

We were in my room sitting on my window seat.

"So what do you want to do today, beautiful?"

"You pick," I said twirling my hair with my finger.

"Well since you only have 2 days left before you go back to Nashville for college, let's do something fun. How about ice skating?"

"What if I fall, will you catch me?"

"Always," he said with a smile.

"You're such a dork sometimes," I said as I lightly hit him on the arm. He put on a pouty face. "But that's why I love you."

He started tickiling me, he knew I hated that. I just sat there laughing.

He was laughing at me. He leaned in, brushing his hand across my face. He pushed a piece of hair out of my face, and kissed me.

Later, we were getting ready to get in the car and he came over and opened the passenger door. I got in, and then he shut the door for me. I just laughed at him. He drove us to the ice skating rink. Once we got in the rink, we rented skates and put them on. Once we got out on the ice, Dylan started skating like a pro. He skated by me backwards, and I yelled, "Show off!" He then skated beside me and grabbed my hand. We skated and skated and skated. I started to get tired so we went and sat down. Dylan went to the snack bar and got some nachos. As he was ordering them, my phone lit up. It was my mom. I was smiling like a fool. When Dylan got back, he gave me a weird look.

"What are you so happy about?"

I didn't want to tell him just yet, so I said, "I'm just happy to have an amazing boyfriend," which wasn't a lie.

After we ate, we got back in the car.

Dylan said, "I'm not ready to go home just yet. I have someplace else I want to take you, is that okay?"

"That's perfect."

Dylan was driving somewhere I wasn't familiar with.

"Um, Dylan, where are we going?"

"I can't tell you," he said grabbing my hand.

Before long we pulled over at this clift like thing. It overlooked the city of Cinncinati. It was beautiful. If you looked down, you could see the city lights. If you looked up, you could see the pretty stars.

"Dylan, this place is beautiful."

"The only beautiful thing I see is you."

I started blushing, then I looked up at the stars.

"The stars shine brighter, when I'm watching them with you," he said.

He really knew how to make me feel special.

"Do you remember when you first told me you loved me?" I asked.

"Yes I do. It was last summer in Nashville. We were on the balcony of our hotel looking at the stars, just like we're doing tonight. I looked over at you, and you looked so beautiful, like always. I was so nervous, too. I thought it was too soon to tell you, but I had to let you know, so I did. and I don't regret it."

I looked at him. I was so happy to have him back.

"Lexie, I really don't know how I'm gonna make it when you go back to college."

I smiled at him, then he had a confused look on his face.

"Nothing, you're not gonna do anything. Tonight, I got a text from my mom and I'm not going back to Nasvhille. I'm gonna go to college with you.....is that okay?"

His face lit up, "Are you serious???"

"Yep, I'm here to stay."
