CHAPTER 16- WHAT IS SHE DOING HERE?

I was blushing real hard. I looked at myself in the kitchen mirror and admired the way my hair looked.

Jungkook while grabbing his study stuff said,

Jungkook-"Manhi, your hair smell good."

I just smiled in return to that.

me-"So kookie, you said we were going to do something after breakfast. We still have an hour left."

he left for the couch and sat, he pat the seat next to him and asked me to come. I sat and he took his phone out and started doing something.

I was just looking around and I heard a noise from his phone...

Jin-"anyeoung jungkookkkkkkkkkk!!!"

Jungkook-"Hi hyung, how are you and aarshi?"

Jin-"We are fine, just wanted to take updates of you and Manhi."

Jungkook-"Can you see her here?"

me-"Hi Jin, looking handsome as usual."

Jin-"I am worldwide handsome Manhi, you know that right?"

we just laughed and Jungkook was now talking now.

Jin-"Jungkook, you remember the bet we had right."

Jungkook-"Yassss!! and I can bet that Manhi and me are going to look the best."

Jin-"Who is asking about you, we have to see who's date looks better, who is the best singer and the best dancer and the most beautiful as we have a surprise for the winner couple, remember?"

Jungkook-"Yes I do and I am telling you that we are going to win"

I swear I was dumbfounded to hear about it and he knew that I was confused.

Jin-"So I have to go now, see you tomorrow maknea, prepare to lose."

Jungkook-"I should say the same thing to you hyung, bye."

with that they hung up.

I threw the nearest pillow at him and he exclaimed. 

me-"Ya Jungkook, I thought I will enjoy myself there but this is more like a competition for me. what the hell will I do now. I am the ugliest, I sing the worst but my dance is the best."

Jungkook-"I know and I believe that you are the prettiest, Nihil and me both believe that you sing the best and when people ask about who is the best dancer in this time, don't they say your name?"

me-"But..."

Jungkook-"we have 1 day to practice together. we will prepare Manhi, I know we can make it."

I was happy that he thinks positive about me. There was half hour more for school so we decided to take a walk to the school and we had to go to the dance studio for practicing after the school for the party.

we were quite fit so it was not a huge task walking. I told him about my worst enemy at the school, her name is Celia. she told all of my friends that I was bad and spread rumours about me, she was the only reason why I left that school. 

we arrived, soon and we were in the class, I sit beside Jungkook so I was comfortable. 

on our way to the class, all the girls and guys were staring at me. All the girls smiled and I could hear them talk about me, not bad but this time it was good. Jungkook saw and put a hand around my shoulder and all the girls started shouting across the corridor. It was funny yet exciting. Jungkook was my only friend present in the school as all of the gang went with their dates for shopping and spending time.

soon Mrs Lee arrived with a student I was familiar with. Ohhh myyy gooooddnessssss. It was CELIA. What the hell is she doing here in Korea??

Mrs Lee-" Class, we have a new transfer student in the class. Come on go on and introduce yourself."

she was also looking at me in confusing eyes. I held Jungkook's hand under the seat in tremendous fear, he was also feared for me as I was having fear attack. Jungkook whispered to me,

Jungkook-"Manhi, is she Celia."

I just nodded which was enough for him to convey the message.

Jungkook-"Don't worry Manhi, I am and always will be there with you."

I felt better.

Celia-"Hello all, I am celia beneth and I am from UK, I am new here so I am hoping forward to see you guys and helping you."

I was still holding Jungkook's hand I did not realise it. Jungkook whispered.

Jungkook-"Manhi, we still have to hold hands and maybe do something else too during the party but now I think the teachers will suspect."

I realised and suddenly left his hand.

I went to the locker before leaving with Jungkook for the practice. I took my practice clothes and when opened the locker, letter flooded down. I remembered what Jungkook had said in the morning and then giggled mentally. I picked them all up and kept it in my bag so me and Jungkook can read it together but while picking them up, I saw a dead black seal red letter and on the cover, it said...
