CHAPTER 23- I WILL NEVER LEAVE YOU

I got startled but then I could smell a familiar cologne. I could not guess who it was. He shushed in my ear. I could feel his hot breath at the back of the neck.

whoever it was, helped me get up and when my hand was in who so ever's hand, it felt familiar. 

me-"Jungkook?!"

there was no reply but then we stopped. I was helped in seating down and then I lost contact with the person until my blindfold was off. I saw Suga and Urvi. Urvi helped me fix my hair and Suga just got the area clear and I don't know what he was looking at until Suga and Urvi came to look at me from front. 

Urvi-"Manhi, just stay happy and all the best."

me-"For what?!"

but I was too late they were gone. I was looking behind if someone was there until someone grabbed my hand. It was Jungkook. I was very angry at him and I just wanted to go away but he grabbed my wrist and made me turn to face him.

Jungkook-"I know you are mad at me but give me 5 minutes to explain."

I with all attitude crossed my hands

me-"Your time starts now."

he said nothing and picked me up bridal style. I was stunned by what he was doing but I kinda wanted this not to end. He put me down on a chair and kneeled down in front of me so him and I were at the same eye level. He started speaking.

Jungkook-"When Celia came and took me away forcefully was because she was threatening me to stay away from you otherwise she had ways to make you lose your smile and I never want that smile of your's to fade away."

I was getting emotional and serious. And he continued.

Jungkook-"The way you eat, walk, talk and crack jokes are just so good. You look so cute when you wake up and so bad when you are sleepy. You are stubborn kid and I like that."

I smiled and he smiled.

Jungkook-"no matter what happens from now, I will never leave you and never ever hurt you again. Let the world turn upside down."

me-"You know Jungkook, that was cheesy."

Jungkook-"Was it, Jin hung told me to say that. but anyways I mean it all. "

he got up and removed a box from his pocket. It was a ring.

Jungkook-"A promise is what I want from you and I am the one promising you."

I took it and I wanted to jump. In an attempt of doing it, I got up but dang it. I was hurt. I fell and he caught me. he came closer to me and whispered...

Jungkook-"Happy birthday Manhi, will you be mine?"

I hugged him so tightly and nodded and this is where he hugged back. We slowly pulled away just for him to get closer to me for a kiss. I felt so special tonight. Well it was the perfect proposal and wanted and my first kiss too. I was happy. But there was a problem. 

I did not know how to kiss back so he stopped.

Jungkook-"What happens... you don't know how to kiss do you?"

I ruined it.

Jungkook got closer and continued whispering

Jungkook-"Never mind."

I was happy and suddenly RM and Safi, Jin and Aarshi, Suga and Urvi, Hobi and Raji, Jimin and Yara, and V and Krisha came in and started singing happy birthday. I just laughed and even Jungkook started singing.

This was the most special birthday I ever got and the most special birthday gift too. Tomorrow was a holliday so I could spend time with Jungkook. I was so happy.

I thanked everyone. there was a ice cream parlour opposite to us and it was always open so we went there. All with their girlfriends were busy talking. V was so cute, he was feeding Krisha. Jin didn't eat ice cream so he gave his share to Aarshi. They all had their own time.

I was looking over at all of them until Jungkook came with my choco-chip ice-cream. he had only one in his hand. I guess he knew that i was only gonna eat half of it. i tried to take the spoon away but he stopped me.

Jungkook-"Let me practice to be a good boyfriend."

he took the spoon and started feeding me. I swear he was so adorable. I could not eat anymore so I took the spoon this time and started feeding him. I  was noticing his side profile. His eyes, deep, his jawline, sharp and his lips...

he was perfect and I was lucky to have him by my side. I hugged hi.
