CHAPTER 20- ALL OF A SUDDEN

Tonight was just an overload of happiness and dreams came true. Tomorrow is Sunday and I will be getting up late. I got a text from mom saying...

mom-"Hi honey is everything fine?"

me-"ya mom, All is good. I am at Jungkooks place and when are you people coming back?"

mom-"We will back on Wednesday and only I am coming back for a few days and will go back to dad for some work."

me- Mom you are not there for my birthday I hate u."

I was very angry to continue the chats so I kept the phone and went to change in my shorts and hoodie and got rid of the gown. Jungkook said he had some calls to attend so he is downstairs and till the time. I got on the bed and then started scrolling down my instagram feed. There were photos of the stars party and so many follow request. I accepted some who I thought would be harmless and then I heard a sound of the door opening revealing a Jungkook with ruffled hair, sleepy but sparkling eyes and loosened tie. I was not in the mood of sleeping at all and was very angry on mom so its fine.

day after tomorrow is my birthday and I will be spending it with a tub of ice cream as the school has said that there will be holiday for 3 days so ya I hate my rubbish life. I just acted as if I was very sleepy and took the blanket and covered myself. Dang it. I guess Jungkook was too smart to understand.

Jungkook-"Now what is wrong?"

me-"Mom is coming on Tuesday and I will have to survive without her."

Jungkook-"It's ok Manhi, you have me."

I was not quite convinced but I gave him a reassuring smile before sitting up straight and for my surprise he was already changed into a bunny pyjama and white tee. He came beside me and laid down with his eyes open and was staring at the ceiling blankly.

me-"What are you thinking about."

Jungkook-"What if Nihil comes and proposes to you?"

me-"And why all of a sudden are you thinking about that?"

Jungkook-"Just made me wonder."

me-"It won't actually make a difference to me. I find him cute and hot but I don't like him in a boyfriend way. I will not accept any proposal if it is not the way I want it to be so yeah..."

Jungkook-"And how do you want your proposal to be?"

Me-"On my birthday. A cute one but not too cliche."

Jungkook-"When is your birthday?"

me-"See thats the point. I want the person who likes me to know that so he will be kind enough. I don't like sharing my birthday with anyone but the people who know... I can't help them."

Jungkook-"So you don't like Nihil?"

me-"No... I like someone else."

dang it... why the hell did I say that??????!!!!!????

Jungkook was suddenly wide awake and came on top of me.

jungkook-"Who is it"

me-" Seriously kookie, I don't wanna tell anyone that but when I will have to tell , you will be the first person I tell."

Jungkook-"Ok then."

for some reason I could see confidence on his face but I gave up and dozed off.

Jungkook's POV

I came in the room and i could see that something was wrong with her. I asked her what was wrong with her and she complained about her mom not being here. I assured to her that I am here, she wore a smile and sat. Meanwhile she was not looking at me, I changed and went towards the bed and stared towards the ceiling. I was thinking on how will i actually tell her that i want her to be mine and then she questioned me..

she-"What are you thinking about."

i was too curious to know if she still likes Nihil or not so I asked her if he proposed to her what will she do. She said that it actually won't make  a difference to me but he is cute and hot but not a boyfriend material.

I was happy to hear that and then she was like she want her dream proposal other wise she will not accept it. I know she wants it on her bday and I know that her badly is 1 day away so I purposely asked her when is her bday. 

she said she does not like to tell her bday too many people so and there are some people who know it. 

so I directly asked her.

me-"So you don't like Nihil."

she said-"No I like someone else."

I got on top of her to know who is it but she did not tell me. Other wise, the Manhi I know will open up in front of me but she said nothing. I remember Urvi telling me that she has feeling for me but after hearing her answer. I was quite confident. She in no time then fell asleep. I took the opportunity to grab her phone and I went through all the chats she and her mom had. The school is having holidays for 4 days so there is no school on her bday. I was calling Jin and RM hang to make arrangement for her birthday and I hope she likes it. 

I kept her phone away. and got the blanket. she was facing me and sleeping sound. I smiled and got closer to her and whispered in her ears leaving a kiss on her cheeks. She smiled.

me-"Good night, princess."
