CHAPTER 21- ALL OF A SUDDEN (II)

My eyes were now opened wide which now made me check the time. Just 4:00 am. I was wondering what I dreamt about and I woke up startled. My back was facing Jungkook and his arm was on my shoulder and his face was close to my neck. I tried to sleep again. Soon as i was about to doze off, I heard him speak in his sleep...

jungkook-"This birthday will be the best for you"

I was wondering who's birthday is he talking about. Maybe one of his friends as he does not know my birthday so I just gave in and went to sleep.

next morning

I woke up before him and decided to go down and have some coffee.I rested my mug and then picked my diary up. I flipped through pages and then came across what I want on my birthday.

I went through all then turned the page to look at my thoughts on Jungkook. I blushed and then I heard Jungkook say good morning. I thought he was close and I was scared to show my diary to anyone so I quickly closed it and kept it under the table and Jungkook was to smart to notice it. He quickly went in to snatch the diary from my hands and started reading it. I did my best to stop him from going to that page and I was too late. I stopped trying to reach for the diary and just stared at him in fear. 

Jungkook-"Ohhh... does Manhi think of me like that?"

I could not handle the embarrassment and turned away but my wrist was in his hands. He made me turn so I was facing him and he stared deep in my eyes. 

I could not continue the eye contact so turned away and started to go to freshen up. He shouted form the living room-

Jungkook-"I will deal with that later manhi."

I chuckled and got freshened up. I went down to to living room seeing Jungkook all fresh and ready to go somewhere. 

me-"Where are you going Jungkook?"

Jungkook-"Not only me but you too. The school has called the council members for some work and being the head boy me and you the head girl, we have to go."

me-"Fine."

I grabbed my timberlands and made it to the car. 

Jungkook-"Manhi, the school is not far from here so let's walk."

the weather was nice so I gave in. We started walking but I think I was too unlucky. I saw Celia coming our way.

Celia-"Jungkook oppa.... can I talk to you for a moment?"

Jungkook-"I don't want to."

me-"It's ok Jungkook, go."

she shot me a glare and took Jungkook's wrist and took him away. I gave in and texted Urvi and Krisha. They said that they will be here today and will stay with us in the BTS dorm.I  was happy. Jungkook came back and we started walking to the school. Celia went way before us but whenever I tried to talk to Jungkook he ignored me and spaced out. I was scared. What if she told him something about me and the walk was silent.

We got to the school and I saw Nihil standing there. When he saw me, the ran towards me. He hugged me. 

Nihil-"Oh Manhi, long time. how have you been?"

me-"Hi Nihil. I am good. And looks like you have been looking better nowadays."

he rubbed the back of his neck with his hand and I just laughed. 

me-"I thought only council members had to come?"

Nihil-"Council members and some selected students."

I walked over to Mrs Lee with Nihil and saw Jungkook to the opposite side. He looked very dull. I never saw Jungkook like that. We had to paint the wall of the school for the new batch of students. Me, Celia, Jungkook and Nihil went towards to walls in the backyard. Jungkook was a good artist so he finished with his portion and sat on the grass. Me and Nihil started singing songs while painting but singing took over so I fell over the paint box. Celia laughed but Jungkook saw and he came over to help me. I felt a little relieved so I took his helping hand but I could see something was wrong with Celia. 

me-"I'll go clean up." 

They all nodded. While I was going. I felt like I was being followed. I turned to only see Celia.  

Celia-"I see you are being very happy over here?"

me-"What do you want now? what have I done to you?"

Celia-''It's just that you are too happy nowadays and I am here to make you cry."

she pushed me on the broken glass and I fell over hurting my ankle. It was bleeding. I got up with the stinging pain but she pushed towards the wall making my head bleed. I was initially strong so I did not faint but I felt really weak. She dragged me in a dark room.

Celia-"Being locked in will the best for you and I make sure no one finds you."

but before I could say anything to me she slammed the door.

I sat there on the floor. Whenever I tried to get up. The pain would let me down. The only string which was coming through the crack in the ceiling was fading away audit was getting dark.

I cried a lot in fear, I heartbreak and in disappointment that he did not even try to look at me. My phone was in my bag in the classroom and I had nothing I could do. I started singing songs in my voice breaking because of my cry. Why me and that too before my birthday.

Jungkook POV

Manhi did not come since a long time so I asked Celia as she was also coming from there.

me-"Celia where is Manhi?"

Celia-"Didn't she tell you, she went home as her dress was stained?"

I still thought something was fishy but I saw Nihil also worried. He came over to me and said.

Nihil-"Go and check at home. If she is there then let me know and if she is not then also let me know."

I nodded and then headed back to the class room to take my phone but I saw that her bag was there and also her phone. I was shit worried now and I wanted to see her. I quickly ran home. I opened the door to see all the hyungs there with their girlfriends.

V hyung-"Ya Jungkook, how much time do you and Manhi take?"

I was shocked with that statement.

me-"Is she here or no?"

all of their smiled faded and they looked at me.

Krisha-"Where is she Jungkook? she is not at home and she is not answering calls also."

Urvi-"If something happens to her then I will kill you Jungkook."

I could see how sacred she was in the way she was talking. I told V and Jimin to look for her at her house. RM and Jin hung to look in the park and Suga and jobs hyung to stay at home with the girls in case she comes home. I called Nihil and told him to come in the school to search for her. 

we were there in no time and we started searching for her everywhere. I knew that one person who might know where she is so i called her. 

Celia-"Hi, what made you call me oppa?"

Jungkook-"Shut it Celia, where is she? I know you know."

Celia-"she does not deserve to be happy"

she hung up with that. 

I dropped on my knees and started crying.

Nihil-"What are you crying for? we have to find her."

me-"I can't live without her"

until we heard someone sing. The sound came from the room opposite me. We quickly sprinted.
