I'm Lucy Mitchell and this is possibly the worst day of my life. I'm sitting in the back of the car next to my sister Brooke. I sink into the seat as we drive by a familiar house that now has a big bold "sold" sign on its front lawn. This moment is so incredibly sad. I turn to my 13 year old sister Brooke and she is currently looking out the window with the happiest expression I've ever seen. Meanwhile, here I am, with tears threatening to fall from my eyes as we leave the only part of my childhood I really loved; my home.

I had so many great memories in my now old Victorian styled house. I remember all the god times, the laughs; everything. And now here we are leaving it all.

I know for a fact that this next house won't even be close to how amazing my old house was. This new experience is going ti change me, it might be for the better, it might not be. But that's the way it is going to be. Unfortunately....

" I can't wait until we get to the new house." My mother, Marissa beamed. "Lucy, what are you going to do when we get to the new house?"

I ignore my mother's question and continue to stare out the window trying to memorize everything I possibly can about my neighbourhood as we drive away from it.

"LUCY!" My mother grabs my attention this time.

"Oh, um... I don't even know how I feel about us moving yet..." I trailed off. My mother and father, Stan know how much I don't want to move out of my neighbourhood and far faraway to start over. I mean to be honest the house doesn't sound too bad but I just hate the idea of picking up and leaving so suddenly... It kind of scares me a little.

I immediately snap my head in the direction of my over enthusiastic sister, Brooke.

"I do, I'm going to pick out my room!" Damn she sounds like such a little kid. One thing that little kids never do; shut up. " Dad, do I get first dibs on the room?"

"Oh don't worry about that, your mother and I have the rooms all figured out." My dad mentioned. This should be good. Note the sarcasm! My dad treats my sister and I like we're stupid or something. Well I can defend myself but my sister on the other hand... it kinda makes sense.

"Awwww, well why can't I choose? Lucy doesn't even want to move to the new house. Just look at her, she's practically crying like a baby over there."

Wow that hurt.

"Honey, don't talk to your sister like that." My father defended.

"But it's true..." My sister trailed off. I just gave her a death glare and continued looking back out the window. This is so movie typical. Maybe make a good drama or something.

"Brooke!" My mother snarled. " Now instead of you fighting over which room is better, we hung up your names on the door so there will be no arguments. Is that understood?"

"Yes." My sister and I mumbled.

The car was silent as we drove onto a more secluded road. I noticed a strangely familiar guy just standing there. It really creeped me out, just the way he was looking at me through the window. Something gave me the feeling that I was going to see him again.

But I brushed it off and treated it as if it was nothing.

My sister reaches up through the car and turns on the radio. Instead of music we get annoying static noise. Brooke flips through the channels until we finally land on one that has half decent music and without static.

We turned onto the highway and our new house was only minutes away. I decided I may as well try to relax. I sighed and buried myself into the leather seat of the car. I tilted my head back and focused on the sound of music.

I woke up to this weird sensation on my cheek. It felt rather wet. I fluttered my eyes open and looked to the left where to weird sensation was coming from. I saw an evil grin from Brooke and her finger pressed into the side of my cheek.

"Brooke you gave me a wet willy!" I shrieked. Brooke is SO immature it actually makes me sick. Why can't she just grow up and wake me up a different way that isn't partially disturbing? NOPE!

She pulls away and jumps out of the car excitidely. I sigh as I open up the car door and close it shut. I look up and the only emotion that over comes me is fear.
