I forgot to update Friday!😨😭
.................................................................

Oh my fucking God, I'm in his apartment. Jimin's thoughts had been racing, full of mixed emotions. He faintly heard the two whisper yelling and wondered if Yoongi didn't want him there, but a scolding look from Jungkook banished the thought. Neither of them would ever do something so rude.

His mind continued to jump from place to place, slowly easing into a more comfortable hum, and he took a moment to look around. Dark wood floors complimented the white couches and the black metal of the loft made the cream colored walls stand out more from the section of brick wall behind him. It was all dark and light enhancing the other, neither overpowering and so Yoongi for some reason. Jimin was about to comment on such to Jungkook but the creaking of the stairs drew his attention.

Min Yoongi, looking equally put together and flustered, was standing, partially hidden by Hoseok, at the foot of the steps.

“Do you want something to drink?” he asked quietly, voice carrying, as he moved towards the kitchen.

“Yes, please,” Jimin replied, heart swelling at the shy smile he got.

“Jungkook, you want anything?” Hoseok asked, following.

“No, thank you,” he replied. “Jimin likes tea, by the way,” he added, directing the comment towards Yoongi, who made a soft noise of acknowledgement.

“So, what brought you guys here?”

“Wanted to make sure you guys knew the apartment number,” Jungkook answered Hoseok, giving Jiminn a few more moments to admire Yoongi moving around the kitchen before he was being handed a glass of steaming tea.

“Thank you,” he murmured, giving Yoongi an eye-crinkling smile.

“Your welcome. Apartment 45, second floor right?”

“Yep.” Jimin did his best to ignore the fact that Yoongi had his address memorized and instead, sipped his tea. They stayed quiet, simply listening to Jungkook and Hoseok talking, paying more attention to each others presence than the conversation.

When the moment to leave came, the disappointment was nearly palpable. Jimin liked the way Yoongi’s eyes felt on him, simply curious and unprovoking; and Yoongi would miss Jimins laugh, melodious and subtly attention grabbing. Thank God they’d be seeing each other again soon.

“See you soon?” Jimin asked when they stood in the doorway.

“Of course. Wouldn’t miss a party with Park Jimin for the world,” Yoongi teased, feeling the startling truth behind the statement coursing through him.

When the door finally shut, both Hoseok and Jungkook witnessed the brightest smile they’d ever seen spread across their best friends face.
